Getting into posting on social platforms can be fun... but it can also be a chore when your agenda is packed. 🤷🏻♀️ - lets be real, you’re busy. - Have you ever tried creating all of your posts for the week at once? It’s a huge time saver and allows you to focus on what you love to do the rest of the week. 👉🏻You know, the thing you got into business to do (which likely wasn’t social media). - You can create your posts in Instagram and save them as drafts. (Instead of publishing, hit the back button 2x. It will ask if you want to save it to a draft). Then go back and publish the draft when you want it to post. - OR use a 3rd party app 📲 that will schedule and publish for you! I love planoly. It’s great and free if you are only managing one account. - Just remember to go in there during the week to engage with your audience. No app will ever master authentic engagement... because there is only one you! So go say hi. Your people follow you because the like hearing from you 💁🏻♀️ - Let me know how it goes!
Stella’s fourth grade music program was last Thursday which gave us the perfect excuse to go buy her a new outfit! ... So off we went on a little shopping spree. As soon as we walked into the store, I heard Stella squeal with excitement as she pointed to a burgundy floral jumpsuit on the mannequin. “I love it!” she said. But instead of stopping to look, I rushed her along to the girls department where I said we would have lots more choices. ... But after 50 minutes of looking at every girl’s skirt, sweater and dress and trying on 6 different outfits, we ended up back at the front of the store staring at that mannequin in the jumpsuit. ... Of course the second Stella stepped out from the dressing room with it on, we both knew it was THE ONE! ... Finally! We found the perfect outfit! ... Even though I was relieved, I couldn’t help be a bit frustrated that we spent nearly an hour walking around when if I would have just listened to Stella in the first place, we could have saved all that time. I guess it’s just hard to believe it can be that easy sometimes. ... After all life isn’t easy - it’s not meant to be. It takes time to make important decisions … to develop great ideas … to find the perfect outfit. ... Or does it? Is it actually a lot easier than than we make it out to be? ... Has this sort of thing ever happened to you where you knew right away what you wanted, but instead of making the decision, you gave yourself more time to think about it ... yet in the end, you ended up right back where you stated? ... Think of all the time you could have saved from stress, worry and over thinking if you just had acted on what your heart was saying in the first place. ... Call it intuition, instinct or a gut feeling - sometimes when you know, you just know. ... Which reminds me ... my gut is telling me I really need to go buy that pair of shoes I saw the other night.
