Greener Postures is moving into the digital age! Starting June 1st, we are opening up online sign ups for all of our drop in classes! Not to worry if you want to keep doing what you’re doing, but those of you that use the MINDBODY app can sign up for classes ahead of time. Everyone will still check in at the desk but this more streamlined sign up could help with congestion before class. If you are interested, download the mindbody app today! Please note- sign ups will open 48 hours before class starts and if plans change you must sign out of the class prior to 60 minutes before start time. Passes can be bought online except for our intro 2-week and 1-month offers and for discounted student/senior pricing. Those can be purchased in the studio.
♡ FOUNDATIONS OF FLIGHT REVIEW ♡ - Bettina 😘❤ On a whim I signed up to the foundations of flight course and immediately started doubting myself. I spent 15 minutes just sitting outside the studio panicing. I text my friends and said "what was I thinking, I'm going to embarrass myself, im not good enough". I kept thinking "how will I manage 3 hours of failure, I couldn't even do a cartwheels a kid, what was i thinking". But Tim always has a way of saying exactly what you need to hear. (Sometimes i think he can read minds). He reminded us we were enough and my ego stepped aside, my fear calmed and I had probably my best ever yoga experience. I learned so much more than how to work towards inversions. Tim really ignited my passion for yoga and gave me some amazing advice to help me with my future practices. I felt very safe through the whole class, I didn't feel any pressure to do anything i wasn't ready for but also Tim really built my confidence in my ability so I done more than i expected. Every pose was well thought out and very well explained by a fantastic teacher. I would absolutely 100% recommend this workshop for ANYONE. I will definitely do it again myself. I've always been so uncomfortable with it so it's not something I teach. I find unbalance with that- I shouldn't shy away from things just because they feel new to me. Jumping into the unfamiliar, the unknown. Practice what you teach.

Compass pose variation inspired by @abanna_yoga_art, swapping fingers lock for a heart :) Making full use of my sore but open hips after a yin class that totally murdered my hips 😅 3 min head-to-mat skandasana each side, 5 min side-split & my biggest nemesis double pigeon/ fire log pose that we held for what seemed like eternity. My hips were still crying the next day 😂 Is that why they say hips trap emotions? LOL! So today I got my period and felt strong. I wasn’t letting things get to me as much as they would’ve last month. I was very irritable but I swear people were testing me and being more rude than usual. Also, I worked twelve hours today. I felt like I was going to turn a whole “bad” day into having a content mood. Then I got in a little fight with someone and I cried for two hours. I dont think I can ever push aside a cry that was intended for me all day. I used to cry nearly every day for a year in high school because I was always sad and had no idea what was happening with my hormones. Only now I’m starting to predict the pattern and work alongside it. I am not trying to push my sadness aside but just be present with it. I am human. I am an emotional human. I deserve love and support from myself and am learning how to give myself that. I listened to five yoga girl podcasts in the last two days and feel vulnerable and self love like no other. This was like a journal entry. Hope it doesn’t bring you down..? Life is insanely amazing. I feel so grateful again. ❤️
