I love wide shoulders, a wide upper back in proportion to the waist, and wide legs that have a nice outer sweep. This goes for both the male and female physique. - These 3 exercises should be (in my opinion) a weekly staple in your weight training plan. READ BELOW πŸ‘‡ - 1) Dumbell Side Raises - either performed standing or seated (I enjoy both, depends on the day and the feel). No need to go crazy heavy, nor extremely high. I see a lor of younger lifters uneccessarily lift too high up, when there's no added benefit to it for the side delt muscle. This is riskier for the rotator cuff when under load and when in a fatigued state. - 2) Pullups - ideally weighted pullups if you can do them cleanly enough. Keep the mind on the lats on not on the forearms and biceps. 5 clean reps, that are full range of motion and with a slow tempo, are more effective than 15 shitty reps that are just performed to impress your mates. - 3) Hack Squats - for this post, I'm referring to close-footed hack squats, which emphasises the outside of your quads. Go slow and deep, ensuring your knees remain stable. - So go design the body you want! Just like an artist with clay, you have control over how you look. It gets real noisy around here, so many different ways to reach very similar goals and many will push their methods on you usually to their benefit not yours. Nothing wrong with taking advice from others, I think it’s important to observe and learn. For an intense shoulder workout swipe πŸ˜‰ • Putting all the food I ate this weekend to very good use this week! I actually had an enjoyable workout for the first time in FOREVER today. I still feel super weak but that all will eventually subside & I’ll be back at it lifting with the big 🐢s soon! • I haven’t reached out to the judges from Nationals yet just because I know they are flooded with emails. So I’m just going to go with my gut right now & focus all my energy in building my glutes, hamstrings & shoulders this off season! • A lot of my friends & family have asked me already “what’s next?” UH SCHOOL. As sad as it is to have my 2018 come to an end, I’m very eager to put all of my focus back into school. I was in school during this prep & I have still managed me 3.5 GPA. Next semester I’ll be in harder classes & I don’t want any distractions. There is no show picked for next year but you just never know 🀷🏼‍♀️ the stage isn’t going anywhere anytime soon & i’m glad I don’t have the pressure to have to find one. I love being lean... I mean really love being lean lol but I also love having a glass of wine with my parents & eating pizza with my friends. Day 2 of my reverse diet and I am so happy! Still holding water. Cardio is still in the program, I’m just happy I got my πŸ₯‘ back! 🀀 anyways.. here was my workout for the day • 3 x 12 Arnold presses - 3 x 12 lateral raises SS 3 x 12 front raises (24 total) - 3 x 10 heavy smith machine presses - 3 x 12 flat bench rear felt flies - 3 x 12 incline bench rear flies - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  CIRCUIT 3 rounds 1 minute rest 12 wall balls (24lbs) 15 ball slams (24lbs) 30 shoulder taps  ROPES :30 on :30 off all or nothing rope slams for 5 minutes straight
