Who’s that stretching after a workout?! It’s me!! I was so excited to get back into my routine today. Due to back pain my workouts recently have been yoga and walks. Today I did a cardio core workout and it felt sooo good! —— Taking care of you should not be optional. I know it’s not always easy to show up and get it done, but when you are part of a group who helps hold you accountable, you do it! Stop self sabotaging ✋🏼 What do I mean when I say “self sabotaging”? It’s doing the things you know full well that you shouldn’t be doing, the things that are holding you back from reaching your goals, thing that cause problems in your life. Things like procrastinating, negative talk, overeating, over drinking etc. The cycle that you fall into over and over again that takes you a step back in life. - It seems that once we decide to do something, we do the opposite. Like, “I’m going to stop eating sugar!” And literally the next thing you do is eat even more sugar than you were eating before. Has this happened to anyone else?! 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ - So here is how to get out of a cycle of self sabotaging: First, identity the self sabotaging behavior. Once you have identified that, it’s time to find a healthy replacement. Then, practice the new replacement over and over again until it becomes a good habit! For example, I tend to self sabotage with procrastination (and I really didn’t want to admit that). But it’s true! I procrastinate until the last minute and in the end, I feel crappy. I pride myself on being a hard worker but procrastination sneaks in every now and then and it can lead to weeks or even months of avoiding what needs to get done. It’s a vicious cycle and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one this happens to! My new habit that I’ve been working on is being aware of the procrastination and biting it in the butt once it creeps in. Instead of waiting to do whatever the task is, I get up and do it right away! Why is that so simple yet so hard?! - We have been created to do amazing, incredible things but we hold ourselves back from so much, it’s actually scary. I encourage everyone to find the things that hold them back from achieving what they want and push past it. Even the little things throughout the day like making your bed can make a difference in your outcome for the day. Show up for

Sometimes we just have to embrace the unknown in a new job, in a new location, in our health or in our thoughts and beliefs. Maybe like myself you have to turn off the still voice and tell it to Shhhhh....because deep down you know you are going to love the change.  Maybe you’re making excuses like you’re too busy, you don’t have enough time or there is just too much to get done. I’m here to tell you I have been there, trying to do it all and letting the fear take over. It is just one decision to squish the excuses and to decide to live in joy instead of misery.  I’m so happy that I made that decision!  My vision and goal is to help people and has been for sometime. If I can help one person feel great about themselves then my vision is being fulfilled.  So often we fill our minds with negative self talk and before we know it that is what we begin to believe. We self convince ourselves of false beliefs. Lies!  So instead let’s... Stop complaining! Stop making excuses! Love ourselves!❤️ Start learning! And realize everything can be worked out!  Remember you’re not too busy, so stop telling yourself that! ~ Look in the mirror.. that's your competition~ - This has been my journey so far. Starting this journey my main goal was weight-loss, thats it! I didnt care about my strength, the plan I was following. As long as the scale was going down, I was happy! - - After losing the weight, I felt so weak and flat when I looked in the mirror. I then followed a structured workout plan focusing on the 3 main compound movements and meal plan I made myself and really started to see improvement with my energy levels and strength overall. I also stopped counting my calories and just enjoyed whole foods and made smart choices. - - Dont make a healthy lifestyle complicated! Small steps will make the biggest changes🙌💯 #workforchange
