I love the WNBA and I particularly love the almighty SEATTLE STORM, watching yesterday's game right now. Just wish the #legend Sue Bird were playing, but well, I'm sure they will have another great season anyway! Go girls! #wnba#seattlestorm#basketball#ballislife 👊🏀👍
I got to go to a Sparks game on Saturday with my buddy Isaiah and my buddy Gilbert. It was a good game and cheap too. Shame that they lost but at least I got to meet @vefromla excited to hear him perform his song "Life is all about living" check him out. #spark#wnba#staplecenter
This is crazzyyy! Was able to watch two great teams play and see my fav and many other players while having dinner. Thank you for taking the time to take a picture with me and making my night!! #wnba#aces#beautiful#lizcambage 🏀😬👌🏾😍
I believe players must put up a certain amount of shots to make technique consistent and for confidence purposes. We try and mix up rep shooting with decision making shooting. In the mornings we work more on reps - refining technique, getting more balanced and increasing confidence. In the afternoons during team training we focus more on decision making training. That seems to be a balance that works well. However, once a player reaches a certain level of shooting ability it is important to start to increase complexity. At the end of the day no two shots in a game are alike so we try to simuliere that by forcing the player to mix it up. Here we do the usual 5 spot shooting. 10 from each spot. The only difference is that no two shots should be the same. Options are catch and shoot, catch and shoot with range, shot fake one dribble, one dribble step backs, one dribble pull ups. Lots of options to keep mixing it up. This makes it much harder than the usual 50 shot drill. You like it?
