IRONMAN Maryland 2018 training plan kicked off last week. I was COMPLETELY off plan starting with a 10 mile, hilly, race then a 56 mile bike ride...but...it felt good to start big. Time to buckle down and pay attention to Training Peaks. #ironmanmaryland#ironmantraining#140point6 I started doing these monthly mileage recaps last year- then Eagleman happened (total meltdown in the heat- finished - but not how my training indicated it would go) and I felt like a fraud. So I stopped posting during the leadup to Ironman Atlantic City 70.3 (where I performed MUCH closer to what training said I could do - thank you cooler weather!)
