So there’s this topic I lovvvvve teaching & chatting about with others. It’s called Primary food. 🍽 Primary Food is what I like to call your nourishment...that doesn’t appear on your plate 😉 This was something I learned in Nutrition School & has been such a biggie with my own personal healing & with others I’ve supported 🌿 Ok, let me break things down for you a bit more... . . The 4 main primary foods are: Exercise, spirituality, your career, and relationships within your life. . . When these areas of your life are balanced is when all those “Healthy eating benefits” can actually work. Great relationships in your life, regular physical activity, a fulfilling career, and a spiritual practice can fill your soul and satisfy your hunger for life. I know it sounds crazy but Primary food far outweighs secondary food (the foods on your plate). You could be eating all the kale and broccoli in the world, but if you’re not nourishing yourself on a whole body-whole life approach...you will not feel as vibrant and thriving as you’re meant to be! (And you so deserve to feel amazing!!) Not exhausted on the daily, not wondering when your next #migraine will be, not dealing with chronic pain or pms or skin issues, etc etc etc. It’s literally your god given right to feel so much better! 🙏🏻 . . Here’s the thing....There’s no secret formula – each person is truly unique. We all have different areas in our life that need nurture & care. This is one of my favorite things I help people discover with my Personal Health Coaching. 👌🏻 It’s #magic !! ✨ I have some open time slots this Friday to offer one or two Free Health History Consultations, let me know if you’d like to book a free session. I’d love to chat (In Person or Via Phone/Video Chat so you can live anywhere and take advantage of this time for you 😘 DM Me!

Hi Everyone! 🧜🏽♀️🌸 Welcome to my profile that I have created to journal my weightloss journey using the ketogenic lifestyle 🥚🧀🥑🥦🥓 I was previously using another meal plan where I managed to lose 23lbs from my highest weight of 264lbs. 💪🏽 I have decided to follow the keto lifestyle due to being recommended it by my doctor. 👨🏾⚕️ Looking forward to smashing my goal of reaching the weight of 165lbs by my birthday September 17 😆✨ Here is my starting weight on Day 1! ✖️
Day 3 Engine 2 Diet I struggled with this one. Breakfast was puffed corn cereal with banana and half soy milk. This was way too little food for me. I'm used to large breakfast. I started getting shaky so had to eat snack. Had a Vega protein bar which helped till lunch Lunch was 2 ezekial breads with hummus, lettuce, brocolli sprouts, cucumber and half an avocado. This was pretty good. Dinner was the basic stir fry. Couldn't find seitan so bright Gardein "chicken" strips. Added bellpepper, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, water chestnuts, tamari and mushrooms. With a scoop of brown rice. Preworkout was 30 grams of oats, with more puff cereal, soy milk, and more banana. By far this was the least amount of calories in. About 1300 for the day. I usually eat 1600 up to 1700. But gotta say, my tummy feels flatter. WOD - 200 meter run, 30 front squats, and 15 toes to bar. Well. What I could at least haha. Total 20 minutes. Did it in my garage. It's just getting to cold outdoors for a run. #plantbasedfoods#bodybuilding#plantbased#fuelyourbody#vegan#vegana#highcarb#lowfat#hclf#engine2diet#flexiblediet#wegan#whatveganseat#wholefoods#hobbit#fitness#kidneytransplant#plantbased#happy#instafood#veganyum
Tip no. 3 - be a considerate gift buyer. If your traditional fall-back gift is chocolates or wine, think twice. If your recipient is trying to eat healthy, or lose weight, has diabetes, or perhaps other intolerances or health conditions your choice of gift may be a problem for them. It’s ok to still give food gifts but they'll be much more appreciated if you take the time to find products that fit the recipients needs. I know I have already shared this place on my stories, but it’s more than worthy for an actual post! Yesterday, my family and I went to @liquideatery. I was literally blown away by the hand-rolled ice cream. As I said above, The Liquid Eatery is the only place in the country that uses this four organic ingredient (almond cream, almond milk, madagascan vanilla bean and maple syrup) formula for their hand-rolled ice cream. We tried the s’mores topped with coconut whipped cream. I love the fact that you can pick up the rolls with your hands and eat them as is. The rolls sort of remind me of a stale sugar cone texture in a really good way - if you know what I mean. My parents used to buy us boxes of sugar cones when we were younger and I would literally eat them by the stack and by the stack I mean I would stack them on top of each other and eat them without any ice cream on top. Anyway, I get off track - I can’t wait to go back!
Just as there is a great misunderstanding towards protein, I find that fats also tend to be a large source of confusion for people. They absolutely have their place in an appropriately balanced diet and can provide a load of good nutrients like omega 3s, antioxidants and also aid in absorption of fat soluble vitamins. 🥑 The amount that is appropriate for you is dependent on your specific needs. And if you aren’t sure what is appropriate it is good to speak with a health professional, specifically a dietitian to help you figure out your needs. Generally, we are treating fats as an accessory to a meal and it can be helpful for you to adjust your needs based on some of your overall goals (maintenance, weight loss, nutrient absorption or healthy weight gain). 🌻 . Plant based fats tend to be best, and if they are from whole sources most often then all the better! Think avocado, nuts, seeds, olives and nut/seed butters. I opted to use some tahini in an orange tahini dressing that I pair with some baked plantains, roasted chickpeas, and a hash made of shredded carrots, daikon radish and kale I cooked with fresh ginger, garlic, smoked paprika and soy sauce. You can use any shredded veggies for this kind of hash, so feel free to be creative. ☺️ . Orange Tahini Dressing 2 tbsp tahini 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp ginger powder 2 tsp soy sauce Juice from 1 small orange (about the size of a lemon or half of a medium size orange) 1 tsp hot sauce 1-2 tbsp water 💧 . Combine all ingredients together in a bowl minus water. Whisk together and add additional water to help adjust to desired consistency. Adjusting seasonings as desired. 🙏🏽

🖤🖤🖤💖💫🌟🙏🏼🤷🏼♀️🔥⚡️ . . . . . . . She said it not me, but I fully support. “Humane” killing is bullshit. Abuse and killing is still abuse and killing, whatever good word you want to put in front of it. If you don’t believe or support abuse or killing of innocent beings, please please please check out a #wholefoods#plantbased#vegan#diet and #lifestyle 🙏🏼🌱🦋😭 There are enough people on this planet who could careless, so if you are one of the ones who does care..please show it. Choices are a huge part of this life and they help dictate karma..karma for you, karma for me, karma for the future of this planet. It’s time to make changes and end this violence. The animals of our source creator have had enough. They deserve compassion and love, not “humane” killing 🙄😞😤 #humane#kosher#culture Let the ending of violence birth beautiful abundance. Ask yourself this: There is absolutely no need to kill animals, so why do you support it? 🤨🧐 #mindbodysoul#mindbodyspirit#mindbodyspiritheartsoul Does your soul support violence? If the answer is no, then the simplest most import thing to do is stop supporting it. #rantoftheday
