One being cheerful & d other isolated. U can see the pics I've attached below.  Personally, I've been through all ds states very often & I'm pretty sure, all do. The fact is, these states of mind has a direct connection with our extra-curricular activities, which includes our day-to-day involvement in various social interactions, which can be either self or within our community.  Starting with the benefits of these activities I'll quote, which I read years back......"All Study No Play Makes Jack A Dumb Boy"...to be specific, it doesn't only go with the youngsters but with all of the various ages, be it an on-board ship or ashore in a society.  It positively helps in exploring our hidden interests & creating a broader perspective which in return enhances our interests n unlock the passions we never knew we had... Consequently, we can have a change in pace n diversity; improved confidence (which is d most required onboard ship); we get deeply involved in social opportunities; we get self-exploration with diversity which obviously helps in improving our intellectual growth & self-esteem. 'Being Alone' obsession costs us by social skills, emotional stability, mental resilience n more...which can be a great hindrance to our shipboard operations.  Diversifying our skills through extra-curricular activities opens our eyes to think & act beyond our day-to-day life....developing self-confidence, talent through these activities can be a huge boost....& yeah talent is nothing without practice...so, we need to involve ourselves first.  Involvement in extra-curricular activities can be related to musical... kinesthetic... interpersonal...intrapersonal... linguistic... mathematical... naturalistic....... the best n easy way on-board ship is to engage ourselves in social

Sunshine state of mind โ˜€๏ธLiving in San Diego, we never really get much for seasons and being a December baby, I’m lucky I get to say it’s usually sunny on my birthday๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Needless to say, before and after sun protection is essential all year round. โ˜€๏ธI made this DIY after sun spray a few weeks ago when the rain passed and it was finally sunny and warm again. I’m not one to burn, except for the first day I actually go lay out. My husband, however, goes from white to red to white again. Poor guy๐Ÿคฃ But luckily, this easy DIY comes to the rescue to prevent any further skin irritation. โ˜€๏ธAll you need is: -Spray bottle -Distilled water -Aloe Vera -Lavender -Peppermint โ˜€๏ธAdd 20 drops of each peppermint and lavender, if you use a smaller spray bottle, 10 drops. Mix those together and add 1-2tbsp aloe vera gel and top with distilled water. Mix it all together and TA-DA!! โ˜€๏ธPro tip: I’ve also been using this on insect bites since we live near a canyon with a creek and have bugs everyyyywhereee. The lavender works it’s magic for skin support and the peppermint soothes any feeling of irritation or itchiness.

While it’s not always ideal to prep when you’re crunched for time, I strongly believe it’s the most optimal when trying to lead a healthier lifestyle because you know exactly what you’re putting in it ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝ‍๐Ÿณ. Store-bought mixes are (usually) processed and full of hydrogenated oils, sugar, and enriched flour (devoid of fiber and REAL nutrients ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿฝ‍โ™€๏ธ). -  Give my go-to recipe a try - I promise it’s not hard! Honestly the hardest part of making pancakes is flipping them, trust me ๐Ÿ˜†! -  Pancake ๐Ÿฅž Deets:  ½ banana splash of water or milk of your choice  1 egg  40g oats  1 tsp of baking powder  Optional:  1 tbsp ceylon cinnamon 1 tsp of virgin coconut oil -  I glazed my stack with raw ๐Ÿฏ. Added some fresh fruit, a few spoonfuls of @coyo_organic yogurt, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Hope ya’ll have an amazing day! ๐Ÿค

A few weeks ago I remembered the dreaded jet lag that comes with going to Europe. It made me a little nervous so I reached out to @health.hydration.oasis and they recommended coming in the morning of my flight. I’m typing this on my way to the airport feeling like a million bucks. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € First of all, Dr. Fox and the other nurses are all industry professionals, in that they practice what they do at Hydration Oasis in our area hospitals. I CAN’T LOSE WEIGHT! ๐Ÿคฌ  As a nutrition coach, I hear this statement all the time!  But the truth is, 99% of the time you can lose weight but you’re just not staying consistent.  Top 5 reasons why you aren’t losing weight:  1.) You’re over eating. 2.) You’re not active enough. 3.) You don’t sleep enough. 4.) You drink too much. 5.) You’re over stressed!  If you are struggling with losing weight but you have never weighed / measured & logged your food then you should probably start to create awareness and understanding in this area.  FOOD QUANTITY MATTERS!  And no, you don’t have to do this for the rest of your life. But you do need to create awareness. You need to understand how many calories you are consuming on a daily basis.  If you “don’t have time” to workout, no problem. START WALKING! How many steps are you walking per day on average? 4K steps per day vs. 12k steps per day can be a game changer!  How’s your sleep? Do you have issues falling asleep or waking up throughout the night? If you’re not sleeping AT LEAST 7 hours per night on average then you’re pushing yourself deeper and deeper into a recovery debt.  If you’re drinking more than you should be, try lowering the alcohol intake. Alcohol definitely isn’t helping you lose weight ๐Ÿ˜‰  Do you cook the majority of your food or do you eat out all the time? If you want to lose weight, try cooking the majority of your food. Weight loss starts in the kitchen!  How would you describe your stress levels on average? Are you waking up throughout the night? Is work stressful? Family life? Etc. Stress is inevitable, but what are you doing to manage and address stress on a daily basis?  So before you say “I can’t lose weight”, make sure that you are being consistent! Not just for 1 week, but for months. Building healthy habits takes months, if not years.  Be patient. As always, DM me if you are struggling with any of these areas and need some help! Slow cooked meatballs ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ I’ve been working today so I wanted to have something in the slow cooker ready for us all. Very simple to do. I’ve used Aldi lean beef meatballs, in a sauce made from 1 carton of passata, tin of chopped tomatoes ๐Ÿ… Splash Worcestershire sauce, little tomato puree, oregano, basil, garlic, salt and pepper. Chuck it all in, give it a mix and cook low and slow all day (or 6-8 hours) Served with wholewheat spaghetti ๐Ÿ(8sp)

When I did, I was astonished that I have had this much change in only a couple of months doing this system! I suffer from thyroid issues (Hashimotos) and chronic fatigue syndrome, on top of being diagnosed last year with Lyme disease. I was debilitated and honestly that's the only word I have to describe it. . I have 5๏ธโƒฃ children who I knew I had to get up and be present for every single day. I had taken my kids out of all of their activities because I barely had the energy for the necessities. I really felt like I was going to live the rest of my life in this state. . #waterchallenge On Monday I started a fitness program that requires me to drink at least 16oz of #water every 2 and a half hours. I was not too happy about that at first because while I like drinking water I thought it was entirely too much in one day. I am now on day 4 and I can already see and feel the difference drinking more water has made for my body. I am less bloated, my bowel movements are easier and more regular and my skin has a better glow. so i did something weird and threw sweet potatoes in a smoothie with banana, cinnamon, vanilla protein and the new @chameleoncoldbrew with oat milk and y’know what? it was actually reallyyy freakin’ good...who knew!๐Ÿคฏ . i’m not one of those people who steers clear of fruit because of the sugar, but i think smoothies are a perfect opportunity to sneak in some veggies and other nutrient-rich foods! . i’ve tried cauliflower in my smoothies before and it didn’t sit too well with my stomach, so i usually stick to spinach, kale or carrots, but i think sweet potato may be here to stay๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ i just chopped one up, boiled it until soft, then stored it in the fridge until i was ready to use it. . have you tried putting veggies in your smoothies? i think i might try zucchini next!๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅ’
