My family went to @steak48 for dinner tonight and it was SO good! I had a petite filet well done (don’t @ me ) and we all shared a bunch of sides and appetizers. The steak was literally melt in your mouth, right up there with Joe’s, which is my fave steak. My favorites were the deviled fried eggs and the crab & avocado stack. The service was top notch and they took care to note what we were celebrating (belated birthdays). I would 100% recommend a visit if you’re in the Chicago area.
BEST day ever!! ❤️ Today I went on a hike that has been on my bucket list for a long time and it did not disappoint!! Stunning views, great workout, amazing quality time with two of my best friends and my daughter, followed by lunch at a farm to table restaurant in the little town of Bow, WA. The sandwich I got there was phenomenal! Artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, pesto and goat cheese. We even saw some paragliders- so cool! . So grateful for @ww and @cb_redmondtc for being in the best shape ever, so I could climb that mountain today! Swipe to see all the fun. ➡️ . .

I also managed to go over my step goal (8,500) thanks to Community Day. Caught a fair number of shiny treeckos too! I so rarely meet my step goal on a weekend, my actual personal goal for weekends is 5,000 steps, so today I got double that! I also did a 7 minute workout and a 3 minute arm workout.
I was out and about today and HaikuHubs made a #wwxblueapron for when I got home! 10sp for Barramundi and Sesame Soy Pan Sauce. It was my least exciting in the box this week but it turned out to be really good!
My first try at keto nachos and I'd say they're pretty darn good. My boyfriend had a giant plate of nachos the other night and I stayed strong and didn't even have one 😭 but it left me craving some of my own. Here we have low carb @missionfoodsus tortilla (6g net carbs per tortilla) I prefer @josephspitabread lavish bread at 4g net carbs but @walmart was out. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2. Cut into 8th with a pizza cutter 3. Brush with oil of your choosing and season with pink salt or seasoning of your choice 4. Bake for 10 min flipping half way through 5. Topped with sour cream, guac, jalapeno, and Tabasco
I usually pair my wraps with salads or just cucumbers but I’m completely sick of that so corn salad will be the side dish for now. It’s super easy and can be made a million different ways. ⚡️2-3 cans of corn. I like fire roasted and white. ⚡️Jalapeño ⚡️Red onion ⚡️Cilantro ⚡️Juice of 1/2 a lime and lemon ⚡️Salt and pepper
Y’all!! Huge NSV here!! 2 years ago we came to Universal so excited to take my son to Harry Potter World. We could barely ride anything because we were so big. It was a terrible disappointment for us and my son. They have these tester seats outside of the ride for people to sit in and see if you fit before waiting in line. This is the tester seat for Harry Potter escape from Gringott’s. 2 years ago, I could not even fully sit down in the seat, let alone pull the lap bar down. See that green glow on my face? That’s the light blinking green saying I’m good to go to ride now! 2 years ago it flashed bright red and my son was heart broken to not ride with me. The very first ride of the day my husband was kicked off of the other Harry Potter ride (The Forbidden Journey) because they couldn’t put the lap belt on. I actually got to ride that one but my arms were so big they had to pinch me in and my arms were stuck in a weird position that hurt me the entire ride. This was a theme throughout the whole trip. Today I rode every single ride I wanted comfortably without even a thought or worry. I’ve waited 2 years to come back here and face this tester seat that once was a symbol of disappointment and shame. Now it’s a symbol of hard work and determination!! I could not be happier! On a side note we’ve been up and at it since 6 AM!! It’s currently just after 9 PM. That’s 15 hours of go, go, go and I’m only leaving because the park is closing and my husband is dragging me out. Y’all!! Who is this girl living her best life?!
