I’ve faced obstacles I never even imagined from complete body dysmorphia in having no ability to understand my body size to strangers on the internet attacking and shaming me for my decision to lose weight. Every single day I would expect myself to fail and occasionally I still worry that I might but I haven’t 😍 If you think weight is just a number then keep thinking that because the best thing I’ve learnt on this journey is that I DON’T GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU THINK 🥰 If you choose to say something negative about me, my weight loss, my diet, or anyone else for that matter, that reflects on you, not me. This has been the ultimate mental struggle but I’ve ended up so much more positive and with a better understanding of myself and my capabilities. I truly believe I can do anything I set my mind to and achieve my goals and that’s something I would never have thought I would feel about myself. Losing weight made me happy. Losing weight made my heathy. Losing weight changed my life. My message is - do what makes you happy and respect others for doing what makes them happy 💕 As always - my body, my autonomy, my choice. A PB is a PB even if it’s just seconds and I’ll definitely take 3 PBs out for 4 for 2018! I’ve had some tough races this year. May saw me having to be picked up and dragged 6 miles by a stranger at Leeds Half and October saw me limp over a very soggy finish line at the Yorkshire Marathon. The positives were a near perfect Pontefract Half which could not have gone any better for me, I loved every second of it and got a well deserved PB for my efforts. Sadly I’ve not ended the year exactly where I had hoped to be as my knee has put me back a tad but onwards and upwards. 2019 is an exciting racing year for me, I’ve entered a lot half’s I have never done before and a few old favourites. Thank you to everyone who has liked, commented, messaged and generally supported me. I started documenting these things in the hope of encouraging and inspiring at least one person. Yum is right!! I am making a Turtle Cheesecake(keto style of course) for my mother-in-law to take to a Christmas party this weekend and I needed to make some of my DELICIOUS caramel sauce!!! I always make a double batch so I can add some to my coffee/tea, drizzle over a dessert, or freeze and dip in chocolate😜! And while I love just buying a good keto caramel syrup(and it requires less dishes😊) I know that’s not an option for all of you(especially my International followers). So here you go!!! Make sure if you make it to tag me in your delicious drizzle! ————— Salted Caramel Sauce Makes 16 Servings(roughly 1/2 Tbsp) 1 Serving: 53 Calories, 6g Fat, 0g Carbs, 0g Protein 1/4 cup Butter 6 Tbsp Erythritol 2 Tbsp Swerve Brown or plain Erythritol 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract 1/4 tsp Xanthan Gum 1/4 tsp Sea Salt 2 tbsp Water 1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, Erythritol, and Swerve Brown . Bring to a boil and cook 3 to 5 minutes (be careful not to burn it). 2. Remove from heat and add cream. Mixture will bubble vigorously. 3. Sprinkle with xanthan gum and whisk vigorously to combine. Add remaining ingredients(minus water). 4. Return mixture to heat and boil 1 more minute. Let cool to lukewarm and stir in water until well combined.

It’s Christmas Cookie time! Seeing my grandparents this weekend for an early Xmas celebration and I concocted this recipe for chewy, delicious snickerdoodles! It made my house smell heavenly! ————————————————— Ingredients: 2 cups almond flour 4 tbsp butter 4 tbsp coconut oil 1 egg 3/4 cup stevia Splash of vanilla Cinnamon and granulated stevia for coating ————————————————— Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Melt butter and coconut oil together, combine with almond flour and stevia. Add a splash of vanilla and beat in the egg. 3. Roll into balls (they’ll feel a little greasy but don’t worry) and coat with cinnamon and stevia (I found that I needed more cinnamon than I originally thought, just make sure that it’s got a dominant red color, not just white) 4. Flatten the coated cookies slightly on baking sheet. They will spread slightly when cooking, but not by much. 5. Bake for 15 minutes. They’ll be soft when they come out but if you let them cool for about 20 minutes they’ll be perfect consistency.
Let’s meet! My name is Diana and I’m 37 years old. I have two children and a wonderful family. Before I reached 36, fitness was a foreign concept to me. I was afraid of weights more than a spider on my bed! In my understanding, if I started to train with weight, in a week I would start to look like Hulk! And I wasn’t very fond of that idea. I lived life as a regular mom, breastfeeding my youngest daughter until three. I thought it was normal in my position to have all of that extra weight. However, I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes and had high cholesterol levels. Clearly, I wasn’t in my best form. The doctor prescribed me medication and I thought I had no other way of life; I thought it was the norm in my case. I was too busy with kids and my husband to care to change anything. Soon enough however, I began getting panic attacks. I wasn’t sure why or how, but it was to the point I couldn’t drive. I has high blood pressure and I felt as if I couldn’t breathe. The doctor gave me new medications in efforts to aid me. At that moment, I understood I needed to change something. I was too young and I knew my kids wanted to see me as my best version; their beautiful and healthy mom. Craving for a better lifestyle, I began to change my habits. I started from a blank slate; I began going to the gym and working out every day. I altered my regular eating habits for the better. Something that has COMPLETELY CHANGED the game for me lately is, that as SOON as I think a negative thought (example: “why cant I be as successful as her?” or anything putting myself down like that) I immediately correct it (example: “I CAN be as successful as her, I just have to work) This paired with starting my day from a place of gratitude and abundance have been a game changer for my brain lately.
