#wednesday . . always known as #humpday, so here's my first hump day picture! I actually prefer my #back than #rump. . but all in all this is one of my favourite #photo's from time on the #wbff#stage#oct2018 as it signifies a lot of #strength not only #physical but #mental and #emotional too! Training is a massive part of my daily routine which helps me to stay focused, #happy and #healthy Thank you to @dallasolsenstudios for the image. . @tbconditioning for #training me, @aliciagowans_wbffpro for being my #stagecoach and a big thank you to @janicecorbishley for coming on this #journey in every way with me Now for a different challenge for #2019. . .any recomendations??
Give yourself the edge in the audition room this Wednesday, Feb. 20th from 7-10pm when Rogue hosts the one night only workshop Improv For Commercials! Has a session runner ever told you: "Feel free to go off script." "You don't have to be word perfect." "Great! Now mix it up. Do something different." Yes? Me too! Translation: Improvise! Improv helps you discover what makes you funny, hones your comedy chops, makes you a better listener, and, when used intelligently, can help give you an edge in booking commercials! This workshop will focus on how to do effective improv in commercial auditions/callbacks and on set after you booked. Improv for TV and film will also be touched on. Specifically, we'll be doing improv exercises that will help build our commercial improv muscles, holding a mock callback, discuss and practice what casting directors and producers are looking for, and swap stories about your own experiences with improv at auditiions and on set. Class is $10. Please RSVP to RogueImprovLA@gmail.com. This class will be limited to 16 students- 8 women and 8 men. Teacher Bios: Stephanie Merlo has been performing comedy in Los Angeles and acting in commercials for six years. She has gone on 300 auditions, had 130 callbacks, 30 avails, and 13 bookings. She's been in numerous spots, a few of which include Wendy's, Tostitos, and Southwest. Michael Sielaff has improvised for murder mystery parties, children's theater, on set, and in the court of law trying to get out of speeding tickets. He has had approximately 550 commercial auditions in the last 9 years with 175 callbacks, 70 avails, and 50 bookings. He's been in spots for Pringles, Hotels.com, DiGiorno's, and Geico among others. Hope to see you at Oneonta Church in South Pasadena tomorrow at 7pm! #improv#improvcomedy#commercials#commercial#commercialimprov#affordableclass#workshop#wednesday#wednesdaywisdom#rogueimprovla#rogueimprov#southpasadena#losangeles#acting#actors#booking
