Huomioi että minun pään liikkeet tässä on aika suuret! Aloita pienellä liikkeellä, suurenna pikkuhiljaa. Näissä pään liikkeissä pitäisi tuntua siltä että vain kaularanka liikkuu, EI että lihakset venyy tai jännittyy, ei että lihakset niskassa/kaulassa jumppaa. Katso videota tarkkaan! Tee monta toistoa kutakin. Kokeile heti. Huomio, ei mitään kipua kun teet. Jos niskasi on pahasti kipeä on kipeä tai sinulla on kaularankavamma, älä tee ennen kuin se on parempi! Ole viisas!  Warmup tips continued. DO NOT STRETCH your neck by pulling with your hands!!! Instead learn to move head and warm up the cervical spine gently! Movement is healthy! Watch video: Start by rolling shoulders back, then move head. Be aware that my head movements here are quite big. Start very small and make movements bigger as you get going. No pain. These should feel like only cervical  spine is moving, not muscles working or stretching!  Do many reps! Now be mindful if you have severe neck pain or cervical spinal issues, there should be no pain while doing these! Näitä liikkeitä kannattaa tehdä joka päivä! Muistutan myös että jos haluat oppia taivuttamaan eteen alas on RANGAN oltava notkea. Jäykkä ranka = et taivu mihinkään. Ala siis liikuttamaan. Katso videota: Kiertoja (voit myös istua tuolin etureunalla, levitä jalkaterät lattialle) kierroissa lantio ja jalat liikkumatta. Kylkiluut sivuttain. Rangan pyöristys ja ojennus lantiota liikuttamalla. Kierto etunojassa. Tee monta toistoa kutakin. Kokeile heti. Huomio, ei mitään kipua kun teet. Jos selkäsi on kipeä tai sinulla on selkävamma, älä tee ennen kuin selkä on parempi! Ole viisas!  I’ve preached about the importance of warming up. Always warm up your spine. Stiff spine, stiff body overall. So move your spine! And remember: if you want to learn to fold forward, your spine needs to be flexible. Watch video: Do rotations, move ribs sideways, round and arch, add rotations. Do many reps! Now be mindful if you have back pain or spinal issues, there should be no pain while doing these! I love this post  Posted @withrepost • @parth.fitness.lifestyle It's easy to get caught in the mindset of expecting see your strength go up every time you go to the gym. - Because, when you first start out, your strength *will* go up nearly every time you go to the gym. - But the stronger you get, the harder it gets to gain strength. - In the same way you can't expect to lose weight every time you step on the scale, you can't expect to gain strength every time you go to the gym. - And in the same way losing scale weight isn't the only way to know you're losing fat (measurements go down, bf goes down, clothes fit better, you feel better, look better in the mirror, etc)...adding weight to the bar isn't the only way to know you're getting stronger (use better form with the same weight, do more reps with the same weight, feel stronger with the same weight, get less fatigued, etc). - All of that aside, I want you to remember one very important point. - You probably got "hooked" on lifting because you loved it. You loved how it made you feel. You loved how empowering it was. You loved the process of getting stronger. - Now, if you find yourself getting stressed out or worried or concerned or angry or demotivated because you aren't getting as strong as you'd like as quickly as you'd like....take a step back and re-evaluate. - Breathe. Smile. Relax. - You do this because you love it. So don't let it become another stressor. Enjoy the process. Alright, seriously it’s time to cut the BS excuse “I just don’t have the time to warmup”🙅🏼‍♀️🤧 I see so many people walk into the gym and just pop some squats out straight away😩 I cannot stress enough the importance of warming up and ACTIVATING properly before even touching weights, ESPECIALLY on leg day!🦵🏻🦵🏻 • I learnt this the hard way and I used to warmup a little but never had a warmup and activation routine until a couple of months ago. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my ability to lift better without niggling pains (which btw eventually develop into injuries👎🏻) after being thorough and taking the time to warmup. This routine probably takes me 25-30mins to do BUT it is invaluable and totally worth making time for. Everyone has “time” to warmup, it’s really whether you’re invested enough in not developing injuries to take the time to actually do it🤷🏼‍♀️ • For anyone like me who sits down at a desk for a lot of the day prior to training, your glutes need warming up and activating before you move into your big compound movements. I like to start off with a full body foam roll, pausing to open up my thoracic spine (after being hunched over for most of the day at my desk). Then I move into hip flexor stretching - tight hip flexors and switched off glutes can contribute to back injuries and my hip flexors are always pretty tight after sitting down all day💻📚 • CORE activation is next with diagonal knee to elbow, alternating 3 point plank, alternating 2 point plank - I never used to do this but your core plays a huge role in compound movements and if it’s not activated prior to lifting you can again injure your back. • Finally I move onto GLUTE activation, using a band to really wake up my stubborn lil glutes - banded side to side steps, kickbacks, glute bridges, lying clams - and VOILA I’m done with warmup/activation and ready to lift😌💪🏻 YES this takes a fair bit of time
