How often do you talk yourself out of it? Today was one of those days. I was tired. Didn't have much energy. And didn't really wanna go workout, even though I had already changed. . . If I had to go outside, I likely wouldn't have bothered. If I had to drive to the gym, I likely wouldn't have bothered, or ended up elsewhere. If I had to wait for equipment, I likely wouldn't have bothered. If childcare would have been full, it would have discouraged me from future trips. . . But I don't have to bother to go to the gym. I don't have a lot of time to talk myself out of it, or end up somewhere else all together. It takes me 16 second ... If I'm slow... To go down to the basement where I have my workout area. I could use the living room, but I like having my own space, for me. You know guys got a man cave, I got my space down there ☺️ . . Anyway, 16 seconds is not a whole lot of time to get to your workout place. . . Yep, it's in my home. And I love it. Coz at the gym I'm that person who'll be on a bike or treadmill counting the seconds of how much longer I have to do this, coz it sucks. And then there is always someone blocking benches with their towels, or what not. Or the classes are so full I fear someone is about to kick me in the back. . . If a gym is as much fun to you, as it is to me, maybe it's time for you to give home workouts a try.
