Day 3 of 1967 Field and Stream Trailer renovation: 1) I learned how to use stack jacks to stabilize the trailer! 2) I got all windows and frames out without breaking them!🥳 3) Removed all butyl tape from windows and camper. 4) PAINSTAKINGLY removed MOST of interior paneling. It was a MUCH harder, longer job than I anticipated. Will continue tomorrow, IF I can find a sawzall to borrow. Know anyone??🧐 4) Found a cool way to keep the door frame on the camper. It was sliding off due to a lack of framing. 5) Got a suntan and only two scrapes. 6) Had a visit from my neighbors and a long conversation with my sister, Laurie. 7)Cleaned up the site by 7pm! A lovely 10-hour day! 8) Had a wonderful cold beverage while admiring the new "lean" look of the trailer! The only thing missing is my partner in crime, playmate, love of my life...can't wait for you to see it in person, B💜🌞😎💕🔨🍸🌞 #vintagetrailers#vintagetrailer#cannedhamtrailer#tincantourist#vintagetrailerrenovation#vintagetrailerrestoration#getoutside#happyplace#vintagecamper
🎶On the road again...🎶 We just love small town America! We had just enough time before the sun went down to snap this photo in Yeehaw Junction on our way home from @fancyflealakeland. Our camper looks like it belongs here, doesn’t it?!
Trip to the RV Hall of Fame Museum in Elkhart Indiana. This museum had RV's from early days (pre-1920's on up), neat to see a nice variety all in one place! Watch your head I bumped mine a few times on the doorways into the trailers. This was a fact finding mission as I'm still trying to decide on floor marmoleum colors for Belles new floor. #ilovecamping#vintagetrailer#vintagecaravans#vintagecamper #theydontmakethemliketheyusedto #vintagerv
