Lovely day out in Fremantle for Anonymous for the Voiceless “Cube of Truth” showing people what happens in the animal agriculture industries. Had a total of 73 people who talked with the volunteers and seriously considered veganism. I met quite a few awesome people, lots of wonderful conversations. Little nerve wracking talking to strangers but slowly getting better. Go vegan peoples ✌🏻🌱💚
Funny how I wanted to be vegetarian at 16, but was talked out of it by my mum and lack of education available at the time. Then proceeded to eat meat thinking I could never be vegetarian (how would I live without burgers, crumbed meat, and slow cooked meat?!) Now I have finally stopped eating it, and to think of returning to eating animal flesh makes me gag. I'm so glad there is now plenty or support and education for vegetarians and vegans. I wish I had done it 18 years ago!
Doesn’t matter how far we go, we always come back to these dumplings. I remember coming here with @kryzzleberry.eats after #elleninmelbourne 2013. My bus didn’t turn up that morning, and we probably ordered this exact spread. Today we also had public transport dramas but the dumplings saved the day again. The sun coming out also helped. I don’t really remember where I was going with this but I love my forever friend and I love food. Thanks for a rad day my Biff 🌞🌱
