For those who have been confused when I say I don't eat animals or anything that comes from them. You’ve probably heard all the problems with plastic straws. And I’m sure you’ve seen videos of them being removed from sea turtles 🐢 noses 😢 there are 500 million plastic straws used and tossed in the US alone every single year!! ... ... So what can you do? Invest in some reusable ones like these bamboo ones from @ever.eco or a stainless option. ... ... I’ve gotten in the habit of simply ordering “water, no straw.” And 100% of the time thus far it has worked. I either sip sans straw or use on of these bad boys that are in my #zerowaste kit in my purse! ... ... If you know you are going to Starbucks bring along a reusable cup. Bring a water bottle wherever you go. And get some of these straws so you’re always prepared! If we all do these little things, the positive impact would be huge!!!
