I feel like salads are completely underrated because people just suck at making salads and throw in some lettuce with store bought dressing. This salad has homemade creamy vegan Caesar on it, “bacon” tempeh, kalamata olives, cabbage, onions, red bell peppers, celery, beet sauerkraut, and avocado. Usually I add sriracha but I just realized I didn’t 😕 And don’t even say she’s vegan that’s why she likes salad, no my boyfriend has had my salads and loves them and yes I’ll always use him as a reference. #vegan#plantbased#veganfoodshare#veganfood

My mam picked me up the @itsuofficial chilli sesame tofu kit as she knows I never treat myself to convenience products like this. Inside the kit there is a pack of sticky microwave rice, a mapo tofu marinade, chilli 🌶 sesame oil and a lovely crisp topping 🥢 I made this using @tofooco (standard) ad served it alongside some sliced spring greens. This kit was really good, the sticky rice was perfect and I really enjoyed the tofu marinade/sauce. I’d definitely recommend 👌🏼 Do you have any favourite convenient meal kits?
FRESH FARMER’S MARKET SALAD Variety is the key to any healthy diet, but it’s easy to get in the habit of eating the same thing over and over again! One way you can avoid this to get your produce at the farmer’s market (so you’re exposed to new veggies) and have a Base Salad. Once you have a base, you can switch up the components based on what you purchase each week! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For example, my base salad always includes: 1. 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬 sometimes it’s arugula, other times it’s baby butter lettuce (like today!) 2. 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 From a Chinese Medicine perspective, too many cold, raw foods can damage the Spleen. 3. 𝐀 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 consisting of an oil (either avocado, flax etc), an acid (ACV, lemon, rice vinegar..), sea salt and pepper, garlic, and chopped fresh herbs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As long as you have these three components, you can switch up the ingredients depending on what looks good at the market that week. Today’s salad included some delicious roasted green cauliflower and carrots, Baby radish, and fresh basil (which was added to the dressing). YUM!
This CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD 🍫 🍌 🍞 from @rachlmansfield is to die for! Hard to believe it’s #paleo friendly, nothing about this tastes like a disappointing healthy dessert! Before baking I topped my banana 🍌 bread with @enjoylifefoods semi sweet chocolate chips (these were on sale at Whole Foods), a banana halved lengthwise, and a dash of cinnamon. So many of my favorite ingredients packed into this delicious banana 🍌 bread 😋. Truly a chocolate 🍫 lovers dream 😍
