It’s a wrap. Love fresh beetroot for a salad and if you can be bothered this is such a great canapé at parties. . . Blanch Chinese cabbage lightly and dip into ice water. For the beetroot fillings I like to use lots of fresh Asian herbs: . Chinese celery Coriander Spring onion Shiso leaves Baby cucumber Fresh young ginger For the sauce you can pick your favourite chilli jam and mix with mayonnaise. I use this brand called “Follow your heart “ Veganise and some sesame oil . I also love the crunchiness so I added some roasted peanuts Voilà! Can’t beet the filling 🌱
Healthy Junk is my favorite vegan junk food grub hub to hit up when I go to Disneyland. It’s located just up the road from the happiest place on earth in the center street promenade, a hip and trendy area of Anaheim. You can park anywhere on the street and it’s located inside the food court. This spot is also the location of a great farmer’s market that also features some good vegan eats. . So, here’s what I had: . Pic 1: BBQ “chicken” burger $8.95 W/slaw & fried pickles. . Pic 2: Crispy “chicken” burger $8.50 Battered & fried chick patty w/ranch. . Pic 3: Nacho King $7.95 A castle of corn chips, black beans, *taco meat, topped with chez sauce and avocado cream garnished with cilantro and green onion.

VEGAN JACKFRUIT PIES 🤤 This is not a drill - you must make this! Not only is it a super super affordable recipe but it's pretty damn easy. Just get some supermarket brand puff pastry (double check it's vegan but most of them are!) Cook your jackfruit in some herbs and spices like paprika, cumin, tumeric and then I added some @niulife teriyaki aminos, and coconut sweet chilli. Add a cup of hot water, some tomato paste and a dash of bbq sauce and let it slow cook until the water is absorbed. Take a ramekan and wrap the puff pastry around it. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes Remove from the oven and then add the jackfruit mixture Cover with more puff pastry and spray oil, sprinkle with some nutritional yeast, sesame seeds and herbs Bake until golden brown! Enjoy 🤗❣️
