Essentially us these last few days. 👆🏼 Hope you’re all enjoying your Easter holidays guys! We’ve been on super-sloth mode of late, hiding out in the van and not getting up to much (we’re blaming the weather ☔️) But if we’re being 100% honest we really love those times when we get to retreat from the world for a little while - donning the trackies, eating Shapes by the box and rewatching the entire collection of Marvel movies (in chronological order of course.) If you’ve ever wondered if you can live on the road AND be a homebody, the answer on our behalf is a resounding “YES”. 😆🚐 Anyone else out there get what we’re talking about?
Some blatant advertising here but since this guy did such a brilliant job with my solar, reworking the bus electrics and is such a lovely, lovely guy I wanted to share his number. If you have a van, bus or boat in the UK and need any electrical work he’s your man.
"I bet you can't get yourself an old RV, drive across Canada in it and learn to play the guitar", my friend @thesocialtraveler was jokingly challenged by his friend as they were driving a tandem bike across Asia 5 years ago 😂 I don't think that any story can start any better 😂 Now 5 years later, after travelling North to South of the Americas and Europe he is still on the road with Rose (the van) and I joined them for a quick trip to Wales. Having a car like that is like taking around a huge sign saying "I am looking for friends"...well it is basically exactly what is written at the back of the car 😂. Every hour we receive messages on social media from people who spotted us on the road and want to be friends or give recommendations about the best places to go. Maybe that is why @thesocialtraveler never uses TripAdvisor 😂 There is for sure something about van life, living a simple life, without a home, shower and electricity. Meeting random people every day who fill up your life and leave you empty at the same time. I don't think you can get any more free than that. Who is into that #vanlife? #adventurethatislife#roseontheroad
