I know I’ve posted a lot about @lettytippins , but she has become a huge inspiration for me personally. I normally see the younger wanting to live cheaply and not have too work much. I’ve spent my own life working since I was 12. I appreciate all in this lifestyle, but admire even more the older that go for it so many years later, especially with health issues. Letty has been a big inspiration once again with her fist trip out, which had a rocky start. Don’t look back Letty. Things happen for a reason. You got this!
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day⠀ When it's cold outside I've got the month of May⠀ Well I guess you'd say⠀ What can make me feel this way?⠀ My girl, my girl, my girl⠀ Talkin' 'bout my girl, my girl⠀ ⠀ #mygirl#fizineeze#fridaydogs#takethemwithyou
Love the journey, not the destination 💛🚐 There have been a few unexpected delays getting Feddy ready and things may take a few weeks longer than anticipated but we’re learning lots and enjoying the experience! We’ve been putting in lots of late nights with @nomadikcustoms to try to get all our cabinetry ready while our wiring is wrapped up and finished. Huge shout out to Marc (@nomadikcustoms) for guiding us as we work and coming up with creative solutions!
See that little black speck at the bottom of the pic. That’s my element. It could be your Element if you come out to the campout May 17-19 in Alabama Hills, CA. Also who’s going to the meet up tommorow in Anaheim CA at 7pm?
Leave no trace, ya nerds. So I had this cart pushing gig in high school. At some point during that short lived career, I realized how easily the customers could collectively put me out of a job. My entire function could be eliminated if folks just snagged a cart walking past those parking lot pens on the way into the store, instead of waiting for me to gather them inside the foyer. This is the dumbest metaphor, but amid the tedium of wrangling I really was struck by the pointlessness of convenience. That’s why we’re participating in the @katieboue challenge: pick up at least one piece of garbage every time you go outside. Bonus #earthweek points for collecting more, and triple points for adhering to all the tenets of @leavenotracecenter. This is what littered our all time favorite campsite. It’s the smallest inconvenience, but small actions can often coalesce into something larger. Something pedestrian, but practical and significant. Take it from me 🛒
We have removed the back seat to create more living space - and frankly - we don’t need them 👫 The seats came off easy, just pull the handles in the back of the seat section and flip the entire thing over. The bolts on the floor were all size 50... a size we didn’t have but a quick visit to our friendly neighbor solved it 😀 #vanlife#vanconversion#vanfloor
