The best time of the day, when i feel most alive is dawn. I never use to be a morning person. In fact when i was still a wee teenager i would have a competition with myself to see how late I can sleep in. Which was usually noon. But when i got out of high school and was no longer forced to wake up early i started to kind of enjoy it. Of course after a month of sleeping in until 1pm for a month. I enjoy how quiet and peaceful the world is at that time. I love how nice the weather is and how pretty the sky looks. Those are the moments when you find the most bliss. So how late did everyone else sleep when they were in their youths? . . . . #mindfulness#travelswiterland#peacelover#mindfulnessmovement#travelnow#travel_captures #seekmoments#traveladdict#innerpeace#wonderfulplaces#peacefulmind#traveldeeper#tower
Things to love about Switzerland: •Everything is aesthetically pleasing. Simplicity and neutral tones for life. 👊🏻 • Water readily available. There are 1,225 fountains all around the city of Zürich. They are safe to drink and you just fill up your water bottle (and that fresh Swiss Alp water. Can't beat that.) • Luxury chocolate. Expensive, but life changing. Just trust me. 😉 • People walk instead of drive. Like everywhere. My kind of place. • Rich history. • Mountain views. 🏔 . . . . . .#vsco #vscocam#switzerland#swisstravel#zürich#travelswiterland#thatsdarling#alps#passionpassport
At the foot of the Swiss Alps on Lake Geneva rests a medieval fortress with more than 1000 years of history, the Castle of Chillon. . 📍 Chateau Chillon, Montreux, Switzerland . Historical records date back to the 12th century, which highlight the castle being owned by three notable families. Unfortunately, the grounds acted as a prison and armoury during the Vaud revolution. However, in the early 19th century Roman poets and intellectuals transformed the castle in the eyes of European aristocrats, which aided in the fabrication of today’s most visited Swiss monument.
