Almost got that hourglass shape! So close I can feel it 😜 As someone who was obese all my life and always had huge love handles just the possibility that I can have an hourglass shape on my body is amazing to me. I've worked so hard for this and will continue to do so just to see what I can accomplish with this body of mine. Btw this dryfit workout hoodie I am inlove with. I get cold easily and especially during the winter even while sweating a lot at the gym I can still get cold the second I stop moving to stretch. My fav part about it though is how cheap it was. Under $25 at Walmart 🤤 I'm super cheap for my workout clothing and won't invest in expensive pieces until my body stays the same size for a while so finding deals on gym clothes that can last for 6 or more months under $30 can be hard at times (especially for squat proof leggings 🤣) but man will I ever cherish buying my first expensive leggings and crop top once my body is where I want to keep it at for a while. Until then I'm enjoying the journey 🙌🙇♀️ One last thing and I know it's random but I gotta say to the ladies out there. Find you a man who loves you for you and not your body. Who gives you everything you want but more importantly everything you need. Ever since losing weight I've had way more guys ask me out and approach me being in this new body and some of the guys are ones I knew when I was bigger. I met my current bf when I was obese. He's been there for me on this journey and I don't even know if he knows this but he is my biggest inspiration not just for my health but my life. He works his butt off and never complains while he listens to me bitch and complain about stupid stuff. Throughout this journey I've had my self confidence be almost wiped out. Having lose skin now really messes with me at times but he's never made a big deal of it or even mentioned it. Starting with what made me become a personal trainer! Transforming my body to become the best version of myself changed my life in so many positive ways. It became a lifestyle and I wouldn’t change it. I wanted others to be able to feel the same way so I made it my profession to help you. Everyone’s transformation is unique. I didn’t have curves and a booty naturally so I built them💪🏽 It didn’t happen straight away. It took time and a lot of trial and error for what works best for my body because everyone is different. These only made me more determined. Don't let the macho bullshit steer you wrong. The lone wolf isn't some badass that left the rest of the pack because they were holding him back. Usually, they're wolves that got kicked out because they were either sick or couldn't get their attitudes in check. They don't go out on their own and suddenly become the best wolf in the wild. Without the strength of the pack, the lone wolf is a dead wolf. Moral of the story? Don't try to do shit alone. Don't lift weights alone with nobody to spot you. That's how you develop bad form without realizing it. That's how you get hurt. Get a partner or a team to train with. Don't try to sort through stress and get your head straight alone. You'll get stuck in your own head and end up spinning your wheels getting nowhere fast. Reach out to people who have been through what you're going through. They can help, and the outside perspective can help more than you'd ever expect. Surround yourself with a strong pack and rely on the strength of that pack to get better. Don't be the lone wolf.
Today’s workout is titled “Faster” and I definitely didn’t feel fast, but I must have been moving fast enough since I barfed a little bit part way through 🤢 @shaunt is no joke, but he’s so motivating and makes me want to push a bit harder everyday. To be a better person and to continue following my goals in life. The moves aren’t perfect, I’m far from perfect, but I accept myself the way that I am. A person that’s a work in progress. Okay little rant time... swipe over to see what I’m talking about.. when people post pictures like this it really makes me mad, because one food is fuel and no food is bad food, yes there are more foods that are more calorie dense than others, but that’s doesn’t make it “bad”. I hate that people think they can’t eat a cheese burger, or a donut and still lose or maintain their weight! You can eat any food as long as it is in moderation... yeah I mean if you eat like 3 cheeseburgers a day and a lot of desserts a day you most likely will gain. One thing I hope people take from my page is to stop labeling food as “good” or “bad”... your body is so wonderful and you need to feed it.. also your body isn’t going to be like “omg she just ate a cupcake I’m gonna make her gain 10 pounds” it doesn’t know what you ate it just knows nutrients!!
