Chef Zach is working hard to release his first online cookbook before the year is out . You can try the recipes at the upcoming Pop Up Series Around Victoria . The book is called “Finding Home Again” . Here is a bit of foreword message: . “Well my home is this place I can lose my mind while wandering around in wilderness of the High Country and then my mind slowly comes back to me like I was slowly coming out of hibernation” . “This is a cookbook that is around returning home”
It’s almost the weekend... where is your favourite place to buy locally made bacon 🥓 in Northern Rivers? We either go out for brunch and support local business, or we make an amazing brunch at home. Sometimes it is dinner during the week. I never used to eat bacon 🥓 until we travelled in Canada 🇨🇦 and had the best bacon from the markets over there! Takes bacon to a whole new level.

The Long Paddock Outback NSW, remains a working stock route with a history from the 1800s when the Overlanders sought further market places and routes for their stock. Stock routes generally followed streams or rivers as it was known stock could not go without water for more than two days. The Long Paddock is surrounded by vastness of land and harsh conditions, and many who took these early routes remained in the area, relocating and developing. Explore The Long Paddock and Hay Plains and discover a land so flat, vast, covered in open grasslands and blue skies, and at night as the sun sets, the Milky Way and stars create one of the most beautiful pictures a sky could paint for its guests. 💙 . . . . . . #thelongpaddock#longpaddock#hayplains#goexplore#outbacknsw#discovernswoutback#nsw#newsouthwales#tourismnsw
I used to be a night owl. I would have heaps of energy after 9 PM and feared early mornings (being earlier than 9 AM).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And I just hated the mornings; I wouldn't talk to anyone for the first few hours. It was so bad my mom even was scared of saying a word to me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Nowadays, I wake up at 5 AM. Not because I have to, the office doesn't open till 10, but just because I can't wait to enjoy my day. Fifteen minutes after getting out of bed I'm fully awake, smiling and ready for a swim, run, walk, ...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are many ways to help you wake up earlier: A fixed bedtime/wake up time, the 5-second rule, increasing the quality of your sleep, ... and I stick with those. But what gets me really excited getting out of bed is the will to live.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That time that I was a night owl, I wasn't living. I was just studying for the sake of studying, working for the sake of working and drinking beers for the sake of drinking beers.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I existed, I had no vision, no goals, no purpose. I was unmotivated.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you have difficulties waking up, maybe you just haven't found your purpose yet. You are not alone, a lot of people die before ever living.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But more on that later this week.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you a morning person 🌅 or night owl 🦉?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #portstephens#tourismnsw#takemetoaustralia#newsouthwales#nsw#visitnsw#ilovensw#destinationnsw#nswtourism#discovernsw#aussie_images #wow_australia2018 #australiagram#exploringaustralia#aussiephotos#thisisaustralia#ig_aussiepix #igaustralia#igersaustralia#igersbrisbane
