I almost didn't post about Tokyo because I couldn't take a picture that I felt could describe it. I want to describe it as a piece of art but that, in my mind would be inaccurate. No, this city is a calculated, precise network that operates almost flawlessly. I couldn't find trash if I tried. It has more people than all of California and is a tenth of the size but you would never know it. The people were incredibly friendly and always helped me out even after I was constantly lost and confused with the lack of english signs. Everyone takes a great responsibility in their work. Even the person at the convenience store will bow and hand you your change with a smile. Not because they're supposed to but because they are just that way. I saw greatest amount of tall buildings I'd ever seen in one place. I had the most trouble with logistics traveling here but I believe of all the places I've been these past few months, Japan is where I intend to return to soonest. I could talk about this city for pages. I observed so much and learned so much from just walking, watching, listening. I seriously didnt talk to anyone besides maybe a few small conversations for the past 5 days and I never felt lonely. I felt like a vibration that was a part of this super organism called Tokyo. Anyway, about to board my flight to Hawaii and I can't wait. I miss so many good things about America. At the end of the day there is no other passport I would rather carry than the one from the United States. See you soon my friends!
