Lovely Sunny day to be playing golf today. New course for me at Mid Herts (@midherts_proshop) I arrived and met my friend Ian by the club house just a little over an 90 minutes after I left home, and we were instantly welcomed by the staff. Huge club house and fantastic locker facilities left me thinking of other clubs I’ve been to recently where this much attention hadn’t been paid to the comfort of their members and guests. After a swift coffee we were ready for the off, as our third partner in crime had just arrived. A quick trip the the exponentially well stocked Pro Shop to pay our more than reasonable green fees of £25 we we’re ready to attack the 1st yet we didn’t 🤔, the starting order at Mid Herts is a little different to some clubs, and they operate a rolling start from specific tee’s depending on the time and day. Our game started on the 10th The curse is set in heathland and woods and is beautiful, the greens are fantastic, and some of the holes are just beautiful, with sunken greens, or pot bunkers it’s a challenging course to play. After 18 rather hot and sunny holes we had a quick lunch sitting outside the club house. I won, scoring 32 points with two blobs. So in effect Handicap. In February I was hired to photograph J.B. Holmes during the PGA Genesis Open at the Riviera Country Club. Not only did J.B. get an incredible hole in one, he went on to win the event. He was on fire all week and it was a pleasure to capture him on his way to victory. Here is J.B. with his caddy Brandon Parsons moments before sinking the putt for birdie.

Things will shift;) . 🌱HYDRATE! 1/2 your body weight amigo! . 🌱BLOODSUGAR: friend, if you can’t go without snacks in between meals there’s a problem. Think #pff as @robertyang says: protein, fat, fiber EVERY meal will ensure your body feels “safe” and it can actually use the nutrients versus storing fat around your midsection:) . 🌱MOVE YOUR BOD: when you’re feeling down, fatigued, and depleted it’s challenging to WANT to hit the gym. So be gentle, and cut yourself some slack. Do 10 minutes daily, that’s it! Just sweat and move . 🌱FIND YOUR PEOPLE: this is why virtual coaching is so powerful. Because no matter how busy your travel/work/family schedule we’re (the FF team) is always here for you. You may be type A, do everything your self, in your career, but when it comes to mental health, fitness, and adding golf goals on top...you NEED a Team. Trust me, I fought this for years and I see a lot of my Type A clients do this at first. . .
