King of the dumplings 👑 生煎包 or pan-fried baozi is a Shanghainese mini pork-filled bun. Crisp bottom with a fluffy top and as soon as you bite into it hot soup will come bursting out (so be careful not to burn your mouth)🤤 I find these buns more satisfying than XLB because it’s much more filling and you get more meat in a small bite.
The Shanghai tower is the second tallest building in the world, however it does have the worlds fastest elevator 😉 Shanghai’s financial district is pretty incredible. Buildings tower and winds above you like something out of Blade Runner. When you look over to it from a distance, I get this warm excited feeling that used I to get when I could see the fair... 🎪 I simply can’t get over the architecture here, there is a building that looks like a bottle opener!
The Mexican Jalapeno Beef Burger 🍔 -medium rare grilled juicy beef patty, layered with avocado & jalapeno... topped with sriracha chili sauce 😍 Exactly how I wanted a cheat day meal to taste like... especially with MY FAVEEEE — SWEET POTATO FRIES! 🍟🍠 (Also obsessed with pickled radish... anyone else?) 😌——————————————————————— 📍Blue Frog, Shanghai
Bike share in China is something that became crazy in the last two years, everywhere was bike, Chinese people when they see an opportunity they rush and they try to compete with each other, same happen with the bike shares, I remember at least more than 6 different brands that came to the city, now only 2 still working in Shanghai, the Mobike and the Alipay... I don’t know until when, but it’s sad when you see such waste of bikes in an pile just laying in the ground!
