Inspiration is everywhere! This tile floor, for example. Do you see a potential quilt here? 🤚 I get a lot of my inspiration for quilt patterns in home decor. It might be because I strive to make each quilt fit in my home decoration style. How about you? Where do you get inspiration for your creativity? #quilterscandy Photo: @essentiallyisabella
Grout is never easy because we like to pack it in well.... but This day I fell victim to my guys when I was grouting. Those of you who speak Spanish, you will have a laugh or two 😂 @custombuildingproducts @carhartt #prismgrout#grouting#porcelaintile
Today we began demo on our next bathroom remodel. The morning and early afternoon was spent preparing the clients home. We started by protecting their floors with X-Board. Next, Zipwall was installed in conjunction with our buildclean to protect the home from dust. We always take the time to protect our clients home and lungs from construction debris.
Today. Today did not go as planned. The bathroom was going to be completely tiled today. But the saw decided not to work. Still managed to seat all the whole pieces in the room. I think these tiles may be some of my favorites we’ve done. Here’s a sneak peek. #remodel#newbathroom#diy#tilefloor#smithacre
Not many people know that when they walk into and around the Grand Rapids Public Museum there is tile flooring that is a part of history under their feet. The Encaustic Tile Floor was originally part of the original Grand Rapids city hall built in 1888 and torn down in the 1960s. If you visit the museum, be sure to look down and think to yourself that you are walking in the footsteps of history! #grpm#history#tilefloor#encaustic#grandrapids#michigan#museum#museumlife
An article in CNN news reads “There's a multitude of contaminants -- bacteria, fungi and allergens -- that you can't see but studies show are there. When you move around as you sleep, you kick them up until the air and breathe them in.” By having your mattress cleaned regularly, you can eliminate those germs and bacteria!
This glass enclosed shower design is dreamy, but the unsung hero of this bathroom design is... the ceiling vent fan. It will reduce and eliminate mold and mildew for years to come, and who doesn't love the idea of a mildew free bathroom? Turning on your bath fan when scrubbing those beautiful tiles will also reduce fumes from cleaning agents that could potentially cause health-related issues. For those of you who know this tile, you know... and are probably laughing! I fought long and hard with my husband to get this tile in our laundry room and WON! And I still love it every. single. day. No regrets here! 😍👌🏼✅

This weekend is going to be full of laughter and relaxation and I cannot wait! . Can we take a moment to appreciate the tile floor that’s in the bathroom in Pike Place Market?! @haileyolsen_223 pointed it out and I fell in love! Photos from our Seattle day are up on my blog!
