Here Come..... The Girls 🥰 'Four little girls meet under an apple tree and form a bond that grows as they share secrets, dreams, worries and schemes' All hail this brilliant book written by @lauren.ace and beautifully illustrated by @lovlieillustration I kept hearing A LOT of great things about this book last year and decided to get a copy for ourselves to see what it was all about. I can say it certainly did not disappoint. Such a lovely tale about friendship, following four best friends through the years, from childhood right through to adulthood, supporting one another through the highs and lows of life. Matilda has made me read it 3 times already this morning and has chosen this book to take with us on our road trip to Norfolk today! Only 7 hours in the car 😵 wish us luck! #arewethereyet P. S I can't get over how alike they look in this picture 💔 P. P. S Have a Fab Easter everybody!! 🐣🐇
Vance & Ace! These two are already as thick as thieves and I think Ace may possibly love Vance more than all the rest of us combined 😂💛 So wonderful that all the cousins get to grow up side by side and coincidentally the age gaps with our kids reflect that of us older cousins growing up ✨💛x
⚡️Everyone tells you it’s going to be manic. But what no-one tells you is that it’s also not going to be. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⚡️Going from a fast-paced job to barely being able to achieve one task a day takes some getting used to. I completely underestimated that your baby is stuck to you like a glove for the first weeks/months of their life, literally stuck to you – sleeping only on you, feeding the rest of the time and refusing to be put down makes a simple task like putting a wash on a real challenge. You spend a lot of time on the couch thinking about all the things you should be doing (because obviously 9 times out of 10 you’ve found yourself out of reach of the TV remote, your phone or anything else that might entertain you in any way), wishing they would sleep in their cot, would sit in their bouncer, just for 5 minutes. When others would take Cormac for a nap I found it difficult to prioritise all the things in my head that I wanted to do and I felt overwhelmed, not able to do any of them. All you can do is suck in the moment, take a breath and remember that everything else can wait, this tiny human needs you. Over time you get used to the change of pace, you start to discover life hacks (more on that later) and that time moves so quickly that you’re so pleased that you just. sat.⠀ ⠀ Also, legs or hotdogs? 🌭⠀ ⠀ #mymumsarockstar#wingingit#newborn#mother#newmum#parentingtheshitoutoflife#parenting#motherhood#motherhoodunplugged#motherhoodsimplified#honestmotherhood#thisismotherhood#parenting101#parentingtips#positiveparenting#parentingwin#workingmum#mumlife#mumssupportingmums#love#baby#lifewithababy

He was talking to the staff all day long bless him & they were so kind & helpful! Really can’t recommend them enough! Thanks for a great day! Also I just love that Jude loves animals just as much as me 💗 #eatplantsnotanimals
I’m so proud of this little boy of mine! As a mom you want the best for your child and yes I’m a mom that worries too much! I want the best for my son and Trevor does have speech delays! Although the doctors say it’s not concerning until he hits 3 years old! Still, as a mom, I worry but Trevor has been doing much better, he started to say much more words and understanding when I talk to him it’s so cute! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Even when he keeps saying Ja (yes) all the time! Sometimes is a struggle because he’s talking in his own ”language” and we don’t understand him and he gets frustrated but we did learn a word he says all the time and we understood it means for him close and the magic word sound like apatiche 🤣🙈 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We still have fun and try to repeat everything 10 million times but this little boy of mine is very stubborn so he looks at you like no honey it’s like this because I said so! 🤔🙈 he got that from his mama 🤣
Let’s talk about Pyramid Schemes—I had a radio chat today with a good friend and we talked about the ins and outs of starting a home based business as a full time Mom. . . Of course we talked about MLM (multi level marketing) and I thought I’d share some insight over here as well because, well, that term “pyramid scheme” is one that is thrown around loosely in the crowd of the unaware. . Let’s unpack it, shall we? I invite you to ask yourself these questions: . 1️⃣ What is a pyramid scheme? If you’re not sure, google with sort that for you. . . 2️⃣ Take a look at other business structures— working at a bank? Cafe? Grocery store? What about contracting for someone else? Is there not always someone “above” you making more money than you and determining your wage + to some extent working hours? . . 3️⃣ Can you take a day off when you want? Work when you want? Make more than the person “above” you? . . 4️⃣ Are you being paid what YOU’RE worth? Or are you getting tiny pay increases annually bc you’re “doing a great job”? . . 5️⃣ If you wanted to start your own “brick and mortar” business rn, what would the start up fees be? Where would you start? . . 🚨 Here’s the reality: . ➡️ People crave human connection and want to buy from someone they care about/trust. . . ➡️ Some MLM companies (AKA dōTERRA) have CHOSEN MLM as a business structure because their product needs to come with education. When selling in shops this is not possible. . . ➡️ Our success does not depend on other people, but our own ability to commit and grow into a better version of ourselves. . . ➡️ The work we put in today does not only pay us 1x, but forever as residual income. . . ➡️ We can be Moms at home full time with our babies, taking beach days when we want or travel when we want at the same time as earning an income for the work that we’ve put in at an earlier date. . . ➡️ We have very low start up and
One week old (left) : loves to sleep, almost always on Mum. One week post partum (right) : stitch is out and my pain seems to be under control. Feeding is hard. Supply is fine. My left nip is in a state so feeding on that side has been a source of great anxiety. The same as last time. Bewb itself was as hard as a rock and I swear it had its own pulse. Add that John has a tongue tie. Nipple shield is my friend at the moment 🍈🍈Baby blues hit last night and today I get emotional talking about Jessica and the impact this transition is having on her. Today was the first time getting dressed and I felt better for that. Can't believe all that has happened in a week!

TAG BELOW! 🏷 These will solve ANY tiff)... . . *This recipe is gluten, dairy and egg free* . . Hands down the best no-bake dessert I have EVER made. I’ll just leave my EASY, NO BAKING INVOLVED Easter recipe below!! . . Decadent, chunky choc, chewy cherry, crunchy pistachio, crumbly biscuit, peanut butter notes. OMGGSHHHH!! CHOCOLATE TOPPING 👑 . . 1) 1/2 cup dark chocolate (we used 85% Lindt) @lindtuk 2) 1 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter) @wholeearthfoods . . . . . 👩🍳 INSTRUCTIONS 👨🍳 . . 1) Pop dates, peanut butter and cocoa powder in your food processor. 2) Process until all the dates are puréed as much as possible. 3) Transfer the mix to a large bowl and add the crushed biscuits, cherries and nuts. Mix using your hands until everything is combined and the ingredients are evenly distributed through the mix. 4) Line loaf tin with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture to the tin, cover with a sheet of parchment paper and press down firmly using your hands or the bottom of a glass. Make sure everything is packed and flat. . . 🍫CHOCOLATE TOPPING . . 1) Melt the chocolate over gently boiling water (I used a glass bowl on top of a pot of hot water on the stove. 2) Once melted, stir in the peanut butter. 3) Pour the melted chocolate over the tiffin base. Place in the refrigerator until set, about 30 minutes. 4) Remove from the refrigerator and cut into slices or squares (may be useful to run the knife under hot water before cutting). . .
🍦I decided that I wanted ice cream and would go to any fast food restaurant to get some if I had to. Going out for ice cream always brings a feeling of nostalgia for carefree childhood living and, after spending several days in the NICU, I needed a feeling of relief and normalcy. 🍦I was shocked to find that Marshfield’s @hubcity.icecream was open! 🍦We drove the few miles down the main street of Marshfield, commenting on how cute the small town’s “downtown” area was and found hub City, across the street from Dairy Queen, Wildwood Park, and Hefko Pool, with a full parking lot. 🍦Hub City Ice Cream opened in 2013 to serve Wisconsin’s own Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream to Marshfield’s residents (and the many visitors the hospital brings into town). Owners, Sandy and David Freeman, have lived in Marshfield for over 30-years. 🍦They had an abundance of traditional and unique flavors: I chose lemon poppyseed, which was heavenly. Hub City has both indoor and outdoor seating. As we drove up, the twinkle lights on the outdoor patio caught my eye. After ordering our treats, we decided we were going to soak up some fresh air and sit outside even though it was 45-degrees and drizzling. 🍦We’re tough Wisconsinites after all.
As much as I get frustrated with Ramsay stealing Henley’s toys and taking her socks off her feet (ever so gently, I should add). I love how he brings her his toys when she’s fussing or runs in her room when he hears her cry. People tried to tell me I wouldn’t be so attached to him after I had a baby but they were wrong. I love him even more knowing how much he cares for my little girl 💗 #seizurealertdog#workingdog#tyd#servicedog#labrador#epilepsy#thisismotherhood#momlife#furmama
Roland Sterling Hollinger was born March 26 at 9:17am, surprising us in more ways than one; by weighing in at 10lbs (the heaviest babe of the family thus far) and coming three days earlier than projected. 💙 . We had a longer stay in the hospital than planned, with complications between the two of us after birth, but we are both doing well now and just so happy to be home. 🙌🏼❤️ We both had a fever after he was born and other additional complications between the two of us that I’ll probably share more about at a later time. . I’m thinking about writing our birth story to share more about it all - would that be of interest to anyone if I shared it at some point? I feel like our birth story is more about the ‘after birth’ portion than the birth itself..it was quite the roller coaster. 😅 The birth itself was actually quite magical and unreal..the sun was shining in thru the windows and golden light was coming in when it was time to push...it was very surreal. 😳😍☀️ . Anywhoo, so thankful for @emilykranyakphotography for capturing these ‘Fresh 96’ (48hr photos didn’t work out lol 😅) photos of us and our little penguin. I just am obsessed with all these. 😍💙 . I’m completely aware of how crazy life is about to get and how I should be resting and mentally preparing for this new season BUT I am a creative mind with passion overflowing and sometimes.. it can’t be stopped 🙈 God knows this. That’s why I think He chose me. He has beautiful visions for this business and I have a burning heart to see them through. • I need your help. I shared about a new product that my partner @paradiselaserco and I have been working on for a while called The Keepsake Bangle on stories tonight and truly would love any and all feedback ESPECIALLY pertaining to which new bangle style you’d like to see. I’ll share much more about these special and fun to additional in the weeks to come but for now this information and any insight would be so great to hear! ♥︎ Scroll right to the see two options: Alex & Ani Style or Single Sliding Style. Also take a look at stories to see more images and a little video of packaging. • I’m not totally crazy. I just... love this business and am always hoping to be creating something worthy of bringing glory to God. I may also be trying to slightly divert myself from my anxieties about this new season that is coming so soon. More to come on that later I’m sure. 🙈
After going through a 10 min mental trauma of getting head shaved along with my kid, I don’t really recognise him anymore! 🤷🏻♀️ As soon as he starts speaking, I get an affirmation that that’s my kid 🤣😂😅 Did you witness your child or your near one getting shaved off his head? Did you also faced the “non-recognising your kid” factor like I do at present? Lol
