My biggest goal is that our little family is happy and healthy so we can enjoy our sweet time together💙💙 I have implemented so many changes to ensure our health and safety. Those include what we are consuming on a regular basis and the products we are using in our home. I encourage everyone to do research on those two things especially. Podcasts can be a great resource for information on multiple areas of life. I truly believe our environment and what we consume sets the stage for our overall health and wellness☀️
The perfect birthday date. I can’t have asked for a better way to spend my afternoon. I’m so grateful for our moments together. I mourn next year when it will be the end of an era and our afternoon adventuring is over. School!!!! . . . . . . . . .
Ok so this morning I have accidentally deleted 3 requests for messages before I had a chance to read them! I know one was spam 🥴 but if you have messaged me about a session and it’s not been replied to please resend the message and I apologise for deleting it!! 😳. In the meantime here is my sweet baby Jones. 8 hours old! Isn’t he just delicious?!!! #jonestheodore#thesweetestbabyboy#myboy

Sometimes I meet babies and have name regrets...well, not regrets but ‘Oooohhh that’s a good one...I wish I thought of that name a few years back’ 🙊 This is Darcy. Darcy is one of those names for me. Anyone else kinda wish they’d thought of a name sooner? Please reassure me I’m not the only one 😂
Can we accept what we are? I miss my dad. He’s not dead, just across the country or globe depending on the time of year. That sounds exotic (and maybe it is) but the setup contains no hint of globetrotting. He lives in an apartment in the densely forested, unexciting town in New York where I was born. Working as a truck driver. Has the same PO Box my mom opened for him in 1988 because if it ain’t broke. Once a year he goes back to Greece to care for his parents house. Who are in fact dead. “I cry and then I don’t,” he said when I asked him how he was holding up after their passing. And I thought, “I need to visit him more. Right now.” He made the effort these 31 years. Look at him, 75 years old and in a river with my girls! Heat and Mexican-majority notwithstanding. This is the life we’ve made for ourselves, kid self. What do you think? Aren’t we smart? Writing a book, homeschooling in the classical tradition, running a gallery, eyeing Master’s degrees, keeping up with the news cycle and think pieces on pet causes: free speech, gender, Kanye. All sources of delight. And sometimes a form of running. I book my ticket home and picture the humid air and linoleum diner booths and neon sign on the public laundromat, the bus exhaust, the Newark traffic, the Kmart receipt, the 711 coffee and protein bar I blow the dust off and think: my kids aren’t blue collar, aren’t Greek, aren’t from New York — but for better or worse inescapably, the love I give them is. #super8#themediumofmemory
Flying through the week! I’m out of the office for a few hours this morning as my new office is in the works and I have all the builders here doing their thang! Exciting things happening over here! It’s raining so I mean shopping is probobly the only option right now..right? 🤷🏼♀️😝
HI Y’ALL 👋🏻 Showing my (why-so-serious) face on here because it’s been a hot minute. I’ve had a lot on my mind and on my plate lately, keeping me pretty preoccupied and distracted. Like right now - I don’t even know where to begin so that probably means I shouldn’t even try to articulate my thoughts 💭 So instead here’s a new dress that I recently added to my client closet, the color is ahhhmazing 😍 Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed or like their mind is one big scrambled plate of spaghetti??!! 🍝 Please tell me I’m not alone 🙏🏻🤪

These little stinkers are on another rv trip with their grandparents & one of their cousins. They’re camping near Luray & not missing us one bit! It’s funny, though, how lost I feel without the constant demands of parenting young children. I seriously have to remind myself to take advantage & enjoy the quiet. It’s been so nice. I can’t wait to have them back, but knowing they’re making the most of this summer with family makes it easy for me to relax. - Welcome to the 757 at 7 Loop! This is us. I love this accidental shot from a quick self timer session with the kiddos because it is so us. Me, running around trying to edit, clean, do laundry, answer emails, potty train, referee, all the while being intentional and present - so hard. Right mama’s? Summer break at home with both kiddos - so far so good but ask me again in a couple of weeks & my answer might be a little different💆🏻♀️☺️ I’m SO thankful to be able to stay home with them! The days are exhausting and beautiful all at the same time.
We’re heading to Costa Rica but it’s the #wildwmnpodcast day - consider today’s episode more of a bonus. Join myself, Capac and Earth for a family deep dive into parenthood, relationship, and fatherhood. I’m asking Capac questions but Earth interjects. It’s not the most serious podcast - there’s sounds of building blocks clattering and I cave and give Earth a sweetie - much to Capac’s dismay. It’s family life. #wearethewildwmn
Stripes anyone? Inspired by true nautical fashion. Imagine yourself walking and shopping the beach strip 🌊 and toting this gorgeous Navy & White bag for all your goodies. Rock it with a pair of boat shoes and you’ll be all set for beach combers day! ☝️ for purchasing details.. OR Find this fabulous pattern @rubywebbscrochet
When playing on the beach is fun, until you get head to toe covered in mud... but is all soon forgotten because it means you get to spend the rest of time in your element foraging around just wearing a pair of pants, just the way you like it. Especially when your mum isn't bothered about a bit of mud on your nice dress! I definitely like capturing ALL the moments of childhood; the smiles, the laughs, the tears and grumps!
OKAY. now I’m really excited. It’s been SO hot even our screened porch (with the fan on) is too hot to enjoy. Thankfully my husband has a real knack for finding things. THIS IS THE BEST FIND YET 🙌🏼 sooo ready for a summer with friends in my little oasis👋🏼🍾🌱
Joel and I were discussing how our baby is a little boy. Oh my goodness how much he has grown is beyond me. It all happens in a blink 👀😱 . . Elijah is currently dropping his morning nap which means he’s good until about an hour and half before his afternoon nap and then it’s all fussy 😩 It’s been on and off like this for a while though so I’m used to it and to curve that fussiness we went to Trader Joe’s, bought yummy fruits and veggies + tidbits for the rest of the week while Joel is away and we shared a sparkling water while we smelled candles and pointed at everything in Hobby Lobby. It was loads of fun and I think it wore him out because He fell asleep with half his snack in his mouth and the other bit in his hand and I didn’t hear a thing the whole way home. I couldn’t believe it. The baby who used the scream every car ride is now a toddler who loves to sleep in the car. 🤷🏻♀️🥰
Even before Ellie was born, Toothless (from How to Train Your Dragon) was a part of our life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My husband loved the movie and would always say he wanted his own dragon. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because that's badass or something ridiculous. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So before we jaunted off on our worldwide traveling adventures I popped into a bookstore and there was a Toothless just waiting for me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That Toothless traveled the world with us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ He saw Big Ben. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Went to Thailand and celebrated Songkran with us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Learned Spanish in Panama.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Everywhere we went he went too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These days Ellie has commandeered Mr. Toothless and although she still says he's Daddy's he sleeps with her and her toys 99.99% of the time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the last few weeks, she's started pretending to breathe fire and fly so I guess the Mister has his own dragon now...we have to take her everywhere too. ;) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ __________________________⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We are #theeverydaystorytellers - mothers who span across four different countries and have 22 children between us. We are all passionate, hard-working women with one common goal in mind. To document childhood. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is week eight. Our hope is to grow in our craft, inspire each other and preserve our children’s memories. Our goal is to document with intention, dedicating time each week to create a collection of images
