Day 18 of 60: Tomorrow starts the biggest test of this challenge for me. 6 hour road trip x2🚗 Wedding on Saturday👰🤵 Family time & endless temptations. ... But my meals have been prepped & packed, workouts have been planned out & the family knows that I've got goals! So bring on the long weekend. I'm ready to shine all the way though it💫 . .
Tomorrow starts my 2nd 60 day challenge & the beginning of my bikini show training for next year. I wish I could say I was excited, but at this moment, I'm more frustrated. . After being in a fender bender this week, my shoulder & back are not 100%. That means no assessment, no heavy lifting (my favorite thing!) for the 1st week. It means sticking to my meal plan & doing cardio requirements only (my least favorite thing 😝) . I want nothing more than to be able to go full steam ahead & power through this unexpected setback to start the challenge off with a bang. But I need to understand that will do my body no good in the long run. I have to remember that success is a marathon, not a sprint. And while this setback was due to someone else's recklessness, I can't let my anger affect my longterm goals. . So tomorrow, I'll still be at the gym at 4am to get my cardio in for the day. I'll eat my 6 meals every 2.5 hrs and drink my gallon of water. I'll do my part to get better & not be deterred by frustration. Because life happens. It's how I handle it that'll determine my outcome. . The marathon starts now.
