I don't enjoy the cold, and today is day 3 of my internal fight to get myself into the poorly heated garage studio. I decided to give myself a bit of time to warm up today, so I spent an hour sitting in front of Andy Goldsworthy's A Collaboration With Nature with cup of coffee. It's so hard to be kind to myself in this busy season (hello, every other maker who knows this too well). Stealing that hour was so good for me this morning, but I already feel that itch of anxiety about my to-do lists rising up. So here's a trio of teacups in winter hues being warmed by the sun to remind me that this season will come every year and nothing should be rushed.
