Hashimoto’s Disease-have you heard of it? I have Hashimoto’s and never really thought anything if it all of these years other than taking the little pill I was prescribed to take many years ago. This pill was supposed to help with the fatigue, bloating, jitters and everything else Hashimoto’s causes in your body. Guess what?! It didn’t and I didn’t know any better. A few years ago I was in touch with a medical practice that works on your body as a whole and the picture became more clear. The reason I had low energy and fatigue among other things is because my Hashimoto’s was not being properly cared for or my hormones. I took food sensitivity tests, started taking supplements and started to feel MUCH better. I also went on a great thyroid pill which I had to stop as my insurance wouldn’t cover it and it was too expensive out of pocket 😡 Recently, I’ve felt the extreme fatigue and hormone imbalance again (not to mention the ravenous appetite) so I’m going back to the steps that I know help me overcome some of this. Perfect timing when this book that was requested through the library came in-interesting reading for this HOT day ! 👀 Any other Hashimoto’s sufferers here?

“The only thing hotter than summer in Atlanta is the heat between newlyweds Cash and Callie Williams. While guests at Callie’s annual tea nosh on cheese straws, the couple finds any excuse to slip away for their own private feast – that is, until the party’s main course is served: family drama. As secrets are revealed and the daddy of all lies uncovered, forgiveness and the strength of their young marriage are put to the test. Cash and Callie soon realize that it will take more than passion to turn the day’s spilled ‘tea’ from bitter to sweet.” SWEET TEA - link in bio! Also available through iBooks.
#partner Do you have an author you would buy if they wrote a phone book? @lisaandliz are those authors for me. They are smart, witty, writers. Their books are filled with pop culture I can relate to. I’m looking at you 💃🏻. In their newest book The Two Lila Bennett’s I loved that they took on the sliding doors affect. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Sliding Doors it is an old Gwyneth Paltrow movie. You know pre goop and pre Chris Martin when she used to act. You should watch it after you read this book. I really enjoyed this book. Lila is someone you are supposed to hate (I think). I don’t want to give anything away so I am going to keep this short. I sped through this book hoping Lila could redeem herself because well for most of the book her life decision are not the best. You will just have to pick up the book to see what we mean by sliding doors and if Lila is redeemable. Pick up this fast paced thriller! You won’t be disappointed. I’m off to go read the phone books I know Lisa and Liz have written or maybe just their Instagram. If you don’t follow @lisaandliz on Instagram and Facebook you are missing out. They can keep me entertained for hours with their stories. Also they have gigantic giveaways a lot! Thank you @lisaandliz, @lakeunionauthors and @amazonpublishing for my copy of this fabulous book. I can’t wait to chat with our #netreduction group about this book.
Just finished #thebirthdayparty by the fantastic @roisinmeaney. I'm always reminded when I read Roisin's books, just how well she understands story and communities and people. This is no exception. If you want an uplifting Summer read, look no further. #summerreads2019
52 || THE MOTHER-IN-LAW by Sally Hepworth After starting at number 127 on the holds list at my public library, I finally got my hands on this book! I expected this to be more of a “thriller” but it felt more like a whodunit / mystery, which I liked. This fun, fast paced page turner is exactly the type of book I love to read in the summer! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .. #themotherinlaw#summerreads2019#beachreads2019
Done ✔️ • I finished “Three Women” last night and overall I was a little disappointed. This is a good book, and I think every women should give it a try, but I felt like there was a piece missing from the end. If there was one more chapter I would have been satisfied. • I did have a problem with her writing style. I had trouble reading the paragraphs written in second-person narrative. I found myself getting confused and I had to keep rereading sentences to know what was happening. • The stories of these three women are fascinating and I never got bored. • Overall, I would give this book 4/5 stars. I think my expectations for this book were a little too high. Since I was confused while reading, and I felt like I needed more, I took off a star. I would recommend this book to any women. • My full review will be on my website soon. 😌 • #bookstagram#bookreviews#bibliophile#threewomen#botm#bookofthemonth#lisataddeo#book#booksbooksbooks#summerreads#summerreads2019#summertbr#julytbr#tbr#julyreads#julybooks
