I used to apologize for what I wanted in life... Zero confidence. . So much so, that my voice would get higher as I spoke to anyone. . I’m now much more “designed” with a specific future in mind... . This next month, there’s a lot of stuff I need to do that I’ve either never done or are a bit intimidating... . And, as I pride myself on the fact that I’m on this journey WITH you (not just a theorist) here’s some of my tricks which might shock you... . 🔥 I spend some of Sunday evenings visualizing what I’m going to absolutely dominate the next week... . I visualize the barrier keeping me back. . I approach my week in this “go to war” manner each Monday... . It puts me a speedy momentum to act without regard to my fear or negative feelings. . I have feelings. . But I’m not my feelings. . 🔥 A realization of our own mortality is one of the best ways of fully removing fear, ever... . I will die. . You will die. . ...so, I get after it. There truly are very very few real rules, permanent consequences, or barriers in life... I come to a sense of this and a vision of life with no limits. . Then I step into it! . If it seems weird that I’m saying this, I totally get it. . I kinda edited some of this after the first draft. . It’s learned. Much of this is a result of failing so miserably for so many years in my past. I couldn’t handle any more failure. I got to a spot where, eventually, I just needed to win SOMETHING. . And, ironically the future I was hoping for was kept by the inner beasts in my head that kept me small. I still dance with those. . So how do you get ready for the week ahead and the potential mental barriers? ⤵️ . P.S. this is how I push past the afternoon slump of writing Facebook and google ads all day. Headphones on, electronic & upbeat music pumping through the speakers...helps to get me in a proper state of mind.

“just be”... that phrase used to trigger the shit out of me, because I was constantly living in the future, focused on lack and scarcity and couldn’t imagine what just being even felt like it sounded ridiculous. The funny thing is, most people don’t know what the state of just “being” feels like for them....I wasn’t alone! When I am in my state of just being, I’m not thinking about myself but from the inside out, I am aware of my own presence. The world around me seems to slow down and I feel grounded and peaceful. So how do you practice the art of just being? It starts by realizing that this state happens in the present moment. Take a walk, look around, smell the air, touch the nature around you, feel the ground under your feet...stand and feel your breathing, slow, deep and even. You have a job, a partner, children, family commitments, hobbies, cooking, plus, big desires to improve your health to manage your anxiety. How can you possibly balance so many things? I’m going to let you in on a little secret here: You can’t. Balance. Is It A Myth? “Harmony” is an easier goal than balance. Harmony means everything is co-existing in a spirit of cooperation. But whatever you want to call it —harmony, balance, or “fitting it all in”— there's a strategy to doing more of what you want and less of what you don’t want. Although it sounds simple, it actually takes massive willpower to execute. It also requires that you get absolutely clear on what you want your life to look like, and what you do not want in your life. 👉First ask yourself what isn’t serving you. What doesn’t need to be in your life? What's dragging you down? Keeping you awake at night? Have you identified a few things? Now get rid of them. (Or fix them.) 👉Next, ask yourself what you want in your life—or in this week or day? What do you want to accomplish? What do you want to do? Who do you want to be with? Focus your energy on these things. Anything that doesn’t fit into this larger scheme… let it go (or learn how to say “no”). Ready to make a few changes?
