Because everyone thought I was naked in my last pic 🤦♀️ Are you a creature of habit?! I had some late night thoughts last night and I was thinking about how many of go through our day to day routine like zombies. It's all so second nature! Which lead to me think....how many BAD habits are you doing that you have now made part of your daily life? And maybe you don't even realize it anymore?! . Habits are comfortable. Habits are familiar. Habits are debilitating!! And bad habits are hijacking your potential! . Sit down and really think about the day to day actions you take. What are you doing that is hurting you? Your mind? Your body? Your spirit? And what will it take for you to CHANGE that habit?! . Will it be hard? Maybe...probably 🤷♀️ but would it be worth it to change a bad habit and replace it with a good one? 100%!!

Hump day aka leg day...went okay....currently @ 185 lbs for hip thrusts which is a lot less than I was a year ago but it’s okay, I’m working my way back up! Waking up early tomorrow to do some cardio and hit upper body. I’m ready for the weekend!!! 💗
Doggo helping me stretch 😋 This is Baylee and she also needs to get in shape 😜 . Today I took my first PBT class I don't know if y'all have tried it but oh my goooooddddd . Basically it's strength training for dancers. It trains all the tiny muscles in your legs and back and abs and hip flexors and basically it's super fun but really hard. I recommend it, even if you're not a dancer. It's kind of like that p.volve thing that's trending now. I think...I haven't actually done that one myself. . Training all the tiny muscles in the body will get you fit and toned without all the bulk. I'll let you know when that happens. I know some of you are all about those giant booties, but that's not really my style. . On Wednesdays, we bench press 💪🏽 . A few tips for properly executing a bench press: 1) Set up with eyes under the bar, flat feet, and the grip you prefer; I use closed medium-width grip, personally. 2) Squeeze your shoulder blades together and contract glutes to stay more stable on the bench. 3) Arch your back as much as it's your thing (I am not entering that debate lol), but leave at least a hand's width beneath your lower back & don't raise your butt off the bench when you press! 4) Keep the weight of the bar vertically over your forearms/elbows rather than over your knuckles, if that makes sense - my wrists tend to bend too much (see in video), so I have to be careful. Straps can also remedy this. 5) Inhale at the top of the movement, hold through the bottom, press back up, and exhale. . Happy hump day friends, hope this week is treating you well 💖
