This is what perseverance looks like! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am so proud of this girl! 🙌🏻💕 This is her first bikini prep and it certainly hasn’t been all puppy dogs and ice cream. She is down over 20 pounds and has been digging deep to get there!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We have had some struggles to work through but she has acknowledged where she went wrong and then made the necessary corrections to move forward and continue to make progress. Each time she was struggling she called me. This open and willing communication has be KEY in her success! We have talked through the issues and figured out a way to work through them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ No prep is easy. This is not an easy sport. Anyone that appears to have an easy time prepping for a show is either not working hard enough or just plain lying.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This girl has put in the work! She has made not only a physical transformation but a mental one as well. I think she would easily say she is a different person now than she was when she started this prep. The amount of personal growth has been incredible. Everyone’s gotta start somewhere. • See those yellow, green and blue weights? Those are the 2, 3, and 5lb weights I started this journey with 3 years ago. There is absolutely no shame in starting small. (In fact, when you’re first starting out, FORM is the most important thing - once you get that down, then you can start worrying about what you’re lifting.) • But guys, if I was still lifting those same weights 3 years later, I would have stopped seeing results a long time ago. They’re not kidding when they say fitness is 100% mental. Day 19 of my 21 day challenge was a S T R U G G L E. Zero parts of me wanted to do anything, especiallyyyy cardio. 😑 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Eventually i sucked it up, put on music, and pushed through. My point is - everyoneeeeee has hard days. It’s what you do with those hard days that matters. Do you push through the hard? Or do you quit? Quitting isn’t going to speed up the process so remind yourself of that next time things get hard. You’re strong af - fight through!!
This spring marks the 5 year mark since I started lifting weights! Just shows that 1) it takes forever to build muscle (so don’t be afraid to lift, ladies) and 2) loosing muscle is harder than gaining it. I’ve fallen off the wagon numerous times but I never let myself get too behind from my goals. The reason I started lifting was to just be strong, nothing else 💕
We made a couple of breakthroughs today fam. First, I finally overcame my social anxiety enough to ask for a handoff since my tiny t-rex arms struggle to unrack real weight on the benches at elite... George was also great and never touched the bar. Preesh dude. 👌 And second, pushed a triple at my previous 1RM (swipe!) and a small PR with a top single at 145. What are your thoughts about sustainable eating!? Do you try to eat grass-fed and finished meats often? As a dietitian, I get this question "what do I eat??" I’ve been eyeing this flavor @eatenlightened in the store for a while and finally decided to give it a try the other night. O👏🏻M👏🏻G👏🏻 there are peanut chunks IN EVERY SINGLE BITE! Since it’s a dairy free flavor the base isn’t as creamy, BUT I was super surprised by how good it was and it wasn’t icy at all like Halo Top! The flavor of the base was mixed between caramel and chocolate & this pint literally tastes like a snickers bar!😍🍫🥜 So so good! #teamenlightened#enlightenedicecream
Mad Axe Woman!! 😂 . I think MrF was joking when he told me to chop the wood? After last years efforts, he probably thought he’d get a good laugh! 🤷🏻♀️😂 . Last year when I tried to wield the axe, I literally could not lift it, never mind actually spilt the wood💪🏻 . I love weight training, but I often forget how it actually helps doing daily chores such as chopping wood! Before I joined this amazing company I only did cardio as I believed it was the only workouts you could do at home but I’ve been proved sooooo wrong! With just 3 sets of dumbbells I’ve gained so much strength and muscle mass💪🏻. Everyone told me that to gain muscle mass I NEEDED to go join a gym and use machines buuut the amazing workouts from the company I’m partnered with have proven them, me and MrF wrong. 👊🏻😉 . SUPER FOOD PROTEIN BALLS 😍 You guys already know how much I love making my own protein balls because 1. I know exactly what’s in them 2. They make a perfect snack on the go & 3. The possibilities are ENDLESS! Not going to lie, I usually don’t measure.. Challanging yourself everyday is one of the most exciting ways to live. First you feel like dying than you feel reborn. This week has been very mentally challanging for me, and learning to push through and really focus in on what I need to do to make tomorrows me proud of what I accomplished today. So much progress is happening!!

Swipe to see a couple of our favorite exercises from this session 👉🏽 . . . . 🏋🏽♀️Russian Kettlebell Swing: this exercise is great a double whammy- perfect for getting your heart rate up AND get an awesome glute and hamstring burn 🏋🏽♀️Romanian Deadlift from a deficit: this is my favorite posterior chain exercise with an added challenge of maintaining proper form past your normal ROM to get a deeeeep stretch in those hammies
It’s almost EASTER! 🐰 ⠀⠀ Which means LOTS of chocolate! ⠀⠀ As always, I love making healthier versions of my favorite foods so here is a recent recipe I’ve been loving for making homemade chocolates 🍫🍫🍫 Melt the coconut oil + cacao butter and add all other ingredients in! Place into a candy mold and put in the freezer for 1 hour and you’re good to go 😊😊 ⠀⠀ You can also add a dollop of peanut butter to the inside to make a “Reese’s” instead! ⠀⠀ Think you love chocolate more than me??
