Whoo hoo you guys it’s the freakin’ weekend. Well, for most. I work all day. It’s sort of weird to have Sunday and Monday as my weekend, but also nice to have a week day to get things accomplished or beat the crowds. Climbing outside again looks like it’s going to have to wait a few weekends...I seriously feel I can’t progress with this lack of free time and available days that get filled up with things I need to get done instead of fun. Not to mention the unpredictable weather that apparently it’ll be raining every time I have a day off. 🙄 Negative Nancy over here! 👈🏼See ya in the gym pullin’ on plastic instead to round off my 15 hour days ✊🏼😜✊🏼
Oh thanks for the memories @facebook ✌️6 years ago....I’ve come a long way! Didn’t always get it right but constantly learning & evolving for the better 😊 Physical & Mental differences are huge👉Now 7-8kgs heavier but a heck of a lot more muscle and body fat is significantly lower. Now 55-56kg BF under 20% vs. under 48kg BF over 20% 👉Eating double the calories & more importantly carbs & sugar vs. virtually a slow starvation and practically no carbs apart from green veg 👉Lifting weights I’d never even dreamed possible & feeling strong with boundless energy vs. feeling so weak after fluffing around in the gym with baby weights & mostly accessory work I needed a nap at 9am in the morning 😳 👉Feeling happy and confident and empowered (most of the time...yes I still have days I’m not) vs. feeling miserable & constantly tired & hungry and doubting myself Don’t be afraid to eat & lift heavy weights! Smashed Potatoes 💥 This was my first time making these & it’s safe to say we loved them! Directions: Simply boil mini potatoes for 15 minutes or until you can easily poke a fork through. Strain & transfer to a baking sheet covered in avocado oil. Spread out evenly then smash each potato using a fork (the thinner they’re smashed, the crispier they get). Next melt ghee or butter & brush each potato to cover it. Then sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder & onion powder. Bake at 400 for about 20 mins or until edges are golden brown. No flipping. Once they’re cooked you can add some fresh parsley on top👌🏼 The perfect side for brunch or easter dinner! 🥔 #smashedpotatoes#easterdinner#brunch

I’ve been doing this fun thing in the gym lately so I thought I’d share 😊 . Once every other week or so I have a workout that’s outside my actual program, on a day when I’m fully recovered and just have some extra time, that I do solely because it’s fun for me. Remember how we gotta make fitness fun!!?! 🥳 . So on these days I pick a set of movements that may or may not be in my current program that I either miss doing or are just fun for me. It changes each time but the idea is the same... I’ll alternate lower body and upper body and usually do 3 of each, so about 6 exercises total, and I’ll do TABATA sets for each 🔥🔥🔥 the pump & burn is real y’all and I freakin’ LOVE it. . What’s tabata again? 8 rounds of 20 seconds on, no stopping, AMRAP *with proper form*; 10 seconds off. . I lower the weight a bit from what I’d do with a normal set, cause going all out for 20 seconds no stopping ain’t a cake walk. I shoot for at least 10 reps each round, but by the last few rounds it’s pretty difficult. . Yesterday was one of these days and it looked like this: 💥 Neutral stance leg press 💥 Dumbbell lateral raises 💥 Dumbbell stiff leg deadlifts 💥 EZ bar bicep curls 💥 Seated abductors 💥 Cable rope tricep push down 💥 Leg extensions . Sweat. Die. Rest. Repeat. Have a happy weekend!!!☀️ 🖤

Ma nem nagy kedvel indultam neki az edzésnek, a hét vége felé már én is extrán elfáradok, főleg, hogy tegnap tovább csökkentettem a ch-t🤷♀️ A kedv viszont nem befolyásolhat semmit ha van egy célunk, csak csinálni kell, gondolkodás nélkül, ilyenkor muszáj bekapcsolni a robot funkciót🤖 Miután pedig lenyomtam a: bicepsz-tricepsz, kardió és has edzést egészen büszke voltam magamra💪🙄 Legyen szép napotok!☀️
When life hands you lemons, make some lemonade 🍋. Yeah I’m pretty sure my phrase looks a little more like this: when life hands you something sweet and lovely and you make it all lemon-y sour and then beat yourself up for not keeping it sweet and then spiral down because you’re disappointed in yourself and then decide you want life to be sweet again so you pick your self up and try to make some lemonade. 😳 I wish I could say just kidding...but that’s for real. Yesterday I picked up some long awaited candle holders for our DMT classes. I scoured for these bad boys and found the unique dimensions we needed at the Dollar Store of all places 😂. I ordered them online for pick-up in store....but when I finally picked them up the candles didn’t fit. I screwed up and must’ve not read closely. And the holders weren’t returnable. I let that make me upset for a solid 3 hours. I failed. I don’t pay attention to detail. I’m not good at this. I am not good. Literally 😨. Over candle holders. Finally, I hopped back online and looked the candle holders up...the dimensions were as I remembered, the exact right diameter we needed. It was total false advertising of the candle holders, not my mistake. Mind you, this isn’t just about candles and diameters. It’s a mindset 🤯. I went straight to it’s all my fault. Is it though? Sometimes! But as a default mindset? That’s not healthy 😵. You know what is? Calmly figuring out what went awry and then fixing it however you can. For the rest of life’s issues, I have know idea where to begin 😂😂—but for the candles being too wide for their holders? Well, I’ll host a lil candle shaving party with Bob in my room and make some lemonade.
