Heller enn å tøye dem, prøv denne kombinasjonen av forlengelse, aktivering og mobilisering:⠀⠀ ✅ 1) I stedet for å synke inn i din dypeste strekk i Anjaneyasana (høy lunge), løft deg heller litt opp og ut av strekken. Når du bevisst aktiverer hofteleddsbøyerne i utfallsposisjon, forlenger du musklene på en trygg og effektiv måte, samtidig som du bygger styrke i ytterkanten av bevegeligheten din. Resultatet er en mer funksjonell mobilitet. I tillegg beskytter du hofteleddet, som er mest sårbart foran.⠀⠀ ✅ 2) Bøy så det bakerste benet og aktiver varsomt hofteleddsbøyerne mer - som om du prøver å dra det bakerste benet ned og fremover gjennom gulvet. Se om du kan finne en følelse av like deler spenning og forlengelse. Hold 3-5 pust. ⠀⠀ ✅ 3) For å mobilisere psoas i forhold til iliacus her: vekselsvis svai og krum ryggen (katt og ku), mens bena fortsatt står i Anjaneyasana. Barefoot bushwalks 👣  In a world full of comfort - from air conditioning to having a warm shower in winter, it voids our human ability to thrive on those little levels of stress. Getting"fit" for example is your bodies adaptation to a bunch a small stints of stress (exercise sessions). Wearing a cushioned heeled jogger is essentially a flexible cast covering your foot. It deprives you of that little stressor that will make you stronger, in fact, it will make your feet, knees, hips and everything from the ground up weaker. I'm not saying everyone should throw their shoes out and live the 'hippy' life, but just don't be scared of a little planned stress. Whether it be doing a small workout or even jumping into an ice bath your body will benefit from it! Toying around with this approach for teaching single leg hinging movements. Kids often struggle with the action of the back leg during these motions, so providing a stable environment for it allows kids to learn the main motion first.  I didn't come up with this, but I can't remember who I saw it from first. DOES COFFEE DEHYDRATE YOU? ⠀ 👨🏻‍🍳There's a tired old myth in the world of health that says coffee dehydrates you. It stems from a few places (not least of which includes an outrageously flawed 1928 study), but mainly from the fact that coffee can act as a mild diuretic (i.e. it makes you pee). ⠀ 🏓Here's the thing >> just because something makes you pee does NOT mean it dehydrates you. Drink several cups of water and you'll have to pee real quick, but it still has a net hydrating effect. ⠀ 🦄Same goes for coffee - which is mostly water, anyway - and even though it might not hydrate you as well as water, it still hydrates you. ⠀ 🐣Worth noting, the mild diuretic effect in coffee doesn't even last long. If you're a habitual coffee drinker, research shows you'll develop a tolerance to it within several days. So not only will it actually hydrate you, soon enough it won't even have the mild diuretic effect. ⠀ 🐳Your takeaway? Coffee is magical and anyone who says otherwise is clearly Lord Voldemort or Bellatrix Lestrange or someone equally as terrible and you should never talk to them again. 💪🏼 Shoulder warm up 💪🏼 . . George getting started this morning with some Is Ys Ts and Ws (If you watch the shapes he making, the name will make sense) You don’t need to add much weight to these, if any, as the long levers make it hard work and you want the effort to come from the scapula muscles rather than delts and traps taking over . . George has a history of supraspinatus tendonopathy so we spend a lot of time working on stability exercises and strengthening his posterior scapula muscles 👐🏼 . . We started training together before Christmas and he’s so much stronger, has much better balance and we will continue to work on his diagonal pairing, as he is more dominant on his right arm & left abdomen 🏋🏻‍♀️ . . Why is The Simplistic Mobility Method so effective?  What I have done is select all of the exercises that group together to create not only symmetry, but awareness and stability.  The major things that you everyone should have a foundation with BEFORE adding anything else is: • hip alignment • internal/external hip strength • thoracic extension/rotation • overhead mobility • balance • ankle/foot strength • core/hip strength and awareness • hamstring activation • squatting  It is easy to follow and the method will last you for a lifetime. Anyone I have ever worked with that had mobility issues STRUGGLED with some element of the exercises (myself included) and that ultimately was always the help that they needed!  People get too caught up with minor details and fancy techniques.  Get consistency with the right things and you will save time and be able to do all of the things you love! ULTRASOUND @adammeakins is going to LOVE this post 😉 • Whilst personally as a therapist I believe exercise is the most effective way to treat patients, generally, to get them strong a functional- some patients do not have the confidence to try exercise before having things such as ultrasound or laser done. • Sometimes these treatments are a psychological crutch for patients and are the 🔑 to get people 🏃‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️ again to strengthen the weakened area. • This patient (full informed consent gained) would not try moving his knee past 90 degrees of knee flexion prior to ultrasound. Despite my reassurance verbally. Po prostu przenieś coś ciężkiego  Proste rozwiązania dają często najlepsze rezultaty.  Stabilność tułowia,  core są fundamentem w sporcie i w życiu codziennym.  Używanie spacerów z obciążeniem dobrze sprawdzi się jako część treningu siłowego, narzedzie do budowy kondycji, w przypadku pracy ze sportowcem jak i u początkującego amatora.  Silniejsze ciało jest po prostu lepsze we wszystkim co robisz!! Poprawiając stabilność tułowia siłe chwytu i siłe całego ciała podczas przenoszenia czegoś ciężkiego jesteś w stanie stać się lepszym sportowcem i bardziej sprawnym człowiekiem.  #workout #core #stability #muscle #strength
