14-ish/100 || Since I’ve not gone to sleep in more than 24 hours I’m claiming these few minutes I have to spin as part of the long day of Tuesday/Wednesday, and when I get home from this marathon of a day, before I begin to grade finals and do grades, I’ll spin my little heart out, than crash. . . . Friends, it’s been a rough past few days with all classes converging into extended amounts of work. This here is a 6” stack of essays, not counting the stack turned in Monday, or the creative writing packets being turned in this week. I have grades do tomorrow for my accelerated class, and a new class starting. . . . It’s exhausting when you add my coursework, but I am so grateful to see today, to have such deep support from my husband and kids who’ve been beside me, encouraging me, egging me on. I’m grateful for my amazing students, current and past, who give me so much joy and hope. I have crew of guys who make it a point to come, find me, and check on me every night class. They share their struggles and triumphs with me, they make me laugh, they also eat a lot. I’m exhausted, but God am I blessed. And!! My documentary is complete! 💪🏾🙌🏾 I am so proud of it I can’t stand it. It’s lyrical and beautiful. Okay, heading to class! . . . #quejimenez100spins#quejimenezspins#the100dayproject#100dayproject#spinning#spindle#spindlespinning#spinnersofinstagram#spinstersofig#100daysofspinning#100daysoffiberart#spinster#spinningyarn#spinningfiber#spinningtop#bflwool
My Spinzilla finishes. About 6 ounces total. The one on the left is a chain ply, and I’m expecting about 400 yards of fingering. The one on the left is a two-ply and I’m expecting about 250 yards of light fingering. Magical special Spinzilla math would indicate I definitely passed the goal of one mile. I’ll wind, measure, wash, and thwack them tomorrow after I get home from class.
