#dragonflag, Bruce Lee's signature exercise for developing amazing levels of strength in the abdominal muscles. This is amazing hard core #bodyweight #exercise.  Till 2 days back, I didn't have any clue if I could do these. I used to watch other people doing this, appreciate them and thought ...Wow! If I could do this. And the day before I just gave it a try. There was a time when I couldn't even do a single #pushup (not even knee or dead #pushup). I had collar bone fracture twice and a right wrist fracture. I didn't stop and is continuously working on building and strengthening my weakness. I came a long way. It took hours, days, months and years to reach here ! Yesterday I was able to do 3 counts of ring pushup and few other variations, it was a dream come true. I surprised myself. Feelings are wordless. 2018 GOAL-2, Check. My First Full Marathon - 42 KM, 195 Meters in 4 Hours 48 Minutes. WHAT YOU GET BY ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT YOU BECOME BY ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS.  21st January,2018 - Tata Mumbai Marathon. It is not just an event but a journey and an experience through which my mind and body have gone through. Very much thrilled and overwhelmed with my performance. All the hard work and training over past 3 months have finally paid off - Waking up  at 2AM - 3AM for long runs, regular cross-training sessions and managing my knee, shoulder and hip injuries in parallel, all have resulted in this performance  One of the reasons that kept me energized and happy through the complete run was the Excellent and lovely Mumbai crowd. Families, small kids cheering up, motivating everyone,  offering water, energy drinks, snacks etc. Mumbai really lived upto their spirit. TRY AND FAIL, BUT DON'T FAIL TO TRY. . DONT LET ANYTHING STOP YOU FROM REACHING YOUR GOALS. . Start of 2018 with one of my long awaited goal. One and half years back I broke my right wrist badly while doing the same monkey bar move. And had to go through major wrist surgery. Since then I was determined to do this again - safely. And Yesterday I could cross it completely. What a great feeling it was. Can't express in words. It took a long time to overcome my fear of last fall. But I didn't give up. I feel more stronger, balanced and controlled now. And this is just a first step towards my goals in same line. SHUT UP, AND WEIGHTS UP !  Dumbell Chest press on Stability ball. Raise the bar by taking up your workout to next level .  Rest upper body on the ball, holding the dumbbells up right, engage your core(hip should not drop) and find your balance.  With this variation of chest press (using the stability ball as a platform instead of a bench), you are activating your core, because core has to work to keep your body stable.  Along with your chest muscles, this press variation will help to strengthen your core, and shoulder as well, which will allow you to handle heavier loads for a variety of exercises. OVERHEAD BARBELL REVERSE LUNGES :: The reverse lunge with barbell overhead press is a compound exercise that strengthens your whole body, improves core balance and boosts weight loss. This move helps to sculpt your core, glutes, quads, hamstrings, and shoulders and increases muscle power.  The main technique in this exercise is to go down slow and explode when you are coming up. Holding the barbell wider, keeping arm straight up right.  To start with , do this exercise with just bodyweight. Once you have mastered the bodyweight reverse lunge, you can try the exercise with added weights. You can choose to hold a dumbbell in each hand or a barbell behind or overhead your back.  In comparison to forward lunge, the reverse lunge tends to put less stress on the knee by keeping the front leg immobile and reducing the risk of that knee coming forward past your toes.  I am using the aerobic stepper here to go more deeper, increasing the muscle engagement. WOBBLE BOARD / BALANCE BOARD CHALLENGE !! I am back with wobble board CHALLENGE - 2 and  CHALLENGE -3. ♦️ Challenge 2 - Shoulder press ♦️Challenge 3 - Front raise Try these two movements on wobble board balance.  I am in progression of these two. Today I could do 7 reps(each side) on shoulder press with 2 kg DB and 5 reps(each side) of front raise with 3kg DB. Work in progress on balancing and the weight movement. But I am happy that I progressed and made improvement in past few days.
