Where have you been young lady? I don’t remember saying you could leave without me! My greeting from Romeo when I got to the door tonight😂💕 As I’ve been saying the past few days I’m openly holding myself accountable. I have goals that I’m trying to achieve. And lying to myself or making excuses isn’t getting me there. My intention today was to workout when I got home. But I literally fell asleep sitting up with my shake in my hand listening to Joel Olsteen. I spent time with Alexa at her school. Napped for a few hours and PLANNED on waking up at 4 to get my workout in before going to my Grandma’s for family night. HOWEVER....I overslept and had to legit brush my teeth and walk out the door. Dinner and family time was amazing as usual. Working third shift I’ve always missed out on these dinners bc I’m tired. So I try to make as many as I can. Anyhowwww long story short, I’m hereby declaring whatever day family day falls on my rest day. This way I don’t feel like I’m failing. I’m excited to do today’s workout tho! I’ve always been scared to death of insanity. My legs are killing me from alpha cardio Tuesday so I can only imagine what’s in store for me with insanity. You might not be naturally talented, but you can make a lot of progress with effort! . . I've always been pretty bad at sports, but am finding (finally) that with some effort and practice I can do a lot more than I ever dreamed of while growing up. . . After dinner we had a little bit of time to practice throwing the spear (it's a skill we need for our upcoming Spartan race in 10 days). Daniel doesn't need to throw this spear for a kid's race, but he is very enthusiastic to practice, too. Alex and I will avoid 30 penalty burpees if we can successfully hit the target during the Spear Throw obstacle. . . I was supposed to be mowing the lawn, since it was a dry day and we've gotten a ton of rain, lately. I still got it done after about 20 minutes of this.
By going slow sometimes we can see things in a completely different way! . . This morning's workout was SLOW! Really S-L-O-W! The point was to do the Back and Biceps moves while focusing on the negative and positive part of each move and working it in a different way. Wow! It really burned with lighter wegihts! . . Life is busy and we're always russing, so it is good to slow down once in a while!

Three weeks may not sound like a very long time, but you can create powerful habits within 21 days. I have always struggle with my weight but I have always been very confident with my body. 💁♀️I tried every diet you can think off but nothing seem to last for me. I am person that loves to cook and loves to eat and lets not talk about Alcohol 🍷😂 I would consider my self a social drinker 🤔🤔 the reason why I am sharing this is because I want to inspire someone who is struggling to start working out 💪 I personally hate working out but for this thirty days that I been strictly going to the gym has become a passion. I do Zumba every single day and I tried to do an hour of cardio I have not weight myself yet because I don’t want to get discouraged I just want to enjoy this path that I am doing. All I want to say is get inspired I used to make every excuse in the book of not having time to work out but now it’s something that I want to do.
