Have you ever gotten out of a relationship and thought you’d never find someone again? We have all been there. You thought you finally found the one only to realize they weren’t and you’re left heart broken and wondering if you’ll ever find that special person. We strive for connection and relationships but we sometimes end up breaking our own hearts because we totally forget about the relationship with ourselves. . I talk about the passing of my ex quite a bit, even though I don’t feel like he was a mistake to have dated, I do feel like I made a mistake by allowing myself to stay in an unhealthy relationship. There was a lot of back and forth and a lot of me tolerating less than I deserve because I did not love myself enough to walk away. I always though he and I would eventually end up together so when he passed that was a very difficult time for me and made me look at myself in a way I never did before. . It forced me to start taking a look at how I talked about and treated myself. Had that not happened I would have never realized that the person I needed to learn to love wasn’t another person but ME. . Sometimes these mistakes we make lead us not into loving another person but learning to love OURSELVES. That’s what we often forget. That’s what makes me want to help other women learn. It’s about loving YOU first and foremost. You are the most important. YOU are the most deserving. YOU are who you need to love above everyone else. YOU deserve to be the love of your life. Happy Monday friends! Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend 🐰🐰 - I enjoyed QUITE a few desserts & Easter candies 😋 but this morning my workout went down as usual! (As they did all weekend) because CONSISTENCY. - It’s not about never eating treats or the foods you love guys. You don’t have to restrict yourself or cut out any food groups to lose weight or to be healthy! Just make healthy your usual and know that treats are treats - not everyday meals 😜🤷🏼♀️ Your nutrition should enhance your life not make you feel restricted 🙅🏼♀️ - Okay, gonna go feed my body some veggies now because that’s what it‘s craving after the weekend’s indulgences 👋🏼👋🏼

Earth Day . One of my favourite things about Earth Day is all the cool stuff people are giving away. . One of my favourite Earth Day freebies was done by Lush years ago. . They were giving out seed bombs. . You're likely wondering what a seed bomb is and why I was so happy about it. . A seed bomb is a way to plant flowers or herbs anywhere there's a bit of ground that is open for planting without any of the work of gardening. Toss a seed bomb and walk away - that simple. . Seed bombs are pretty easy to make (just google DIY seed bombs) and you'll see what I mean. There are so many options - some with clay as the base while others use construction paper; some are shaped in silicone molds while others are rolled into balls. The possibilities are endless. . What flowers or herbs would you want to see more of in an area you pass by regularly? Another option is to throw seed bombs out the car window on a drive through the country. For this you might want to use flowers that bees love so that you can support the bee population that's struggling. . Another idea is to get your kids, nieces, nephews, a friend's kids involved in making and tossing seed bombs. I bet the kids would have a ball making and deciding where to toss them. . What do I love most about my virtual gym?! Well besides the fact it’s basically like Netflix but for workout streaming.... is that I can do ANY workout I feel like! 👏🏻 // So today I opted for a “bonus” weighted workout called “built stronger” + the trainer was so encouraging... reminding me that “I BUILT THIS”- my strength, my endurance, my agility, my stamina, my belief in myself! // 20 minutes later I am surging with endorphins, dripping in sweat 💦 + motivation is coursing through my body! ☀️ // Our April Bootcamp officially ended this week but we’re preparing for prep week starting 4/29! [TW: abusive partner] 💜💜💜 I've done life coaching, worked with people in case management in a psychiatric setting, told my friends the bitter truth about what I wanted out of our friendship and what was bothering me about their actions, provided uncomfortable perspectives to people that they didn't want to hear, and even given people a sanctuary from an abusive situation. 💜💜💜 But guess what? If you don't want to do the work, my help means diddly squat. If you don't care how your actions affect other people, if you aren't ready to move out of self-destructive patterns, if you truly believe that abusive partner loves you and won't do it again, then no amount of resources, check-ins, tools, education, therapy, hypnosis, medication, whatever is going to help. 💜💜💜 You truly have to get tired of your own shit to make a change. If you aren't ready or willing, nothing will shift. And yes we can always jump in before we're ready, but that applies more with bucket list type goals, right? 💜💜💜 To truly transform, to get rid of an unhealthy pattern, to take yourself to the next level... you have to AT LEAST be willing to do the work. Otherwise it's done in vain and you'll just cycle back around. 💜💜💜 So the first step is some introspective work and figuring out if you are, in fact, actually ready to change. Are you tired of your own shit? Can you not live another day in this pattern? Then you're ready. Let's move forward. #uncustomaryselflove

This weekend I ate and indulged in all the things and I’m pretty sure my diet consisted of mostly carbs and sugar, BUT guess what? I’m ok with that. I get asked all the time what I eat during holidays and how I plan on surviving. My advice that I give is EAT all the things and be ok with it. It’s a weekend and it’s meant to be enjoyed. One weekend won’t destroy you or set you back. So that’s exactly what I did and I hope you did the same. Now that the holiday weekend is over, I’m starting my Monday off with some delicious coffee and some #bobsredmilloats!!!! I live a lifestyle and I know that I can eat delicious food, but I also know how to dial it in and eat with intention. Another set of “new beginnings” as the same ol’ me . I am not a fan of the “new year, new me” or any other kind of “new me” movement... and here’s why: I would not be who I am or where I am today without E-V-E-R-Y-thing that has happened in my life, the good And the bad And the just straight up Confusing . I don’t want to be a “new ME” because I have found a way to love myself and who I am Right NOW, no matter how many things I want to grow beyond or work past . I don’t want to deny myself the “old ME” because I feel like the old me’s mistakes, adventures, and trials have shaped me into the strong, brave, compassionate, and loving woman I am today . I am FAR from perfect and I still make Tons of mistakes, but I’m learning to accept them and Learn From them to continue on this crazy path of life I have grown to love dancing through, no matter what is thrown my way . My journey through life is a traverse of progress, Not perfection. I still struggle with perfectionism, and other things I’m sure I will share with you along this journey, but I find honoring myself, who I Am, and who I Was to be of vital importance . So here is to the start of my next fitness challenge, a Harry Potter themed bootcamp (How COOL is That?!), training for my next 5K, AND starting my first personal development book club . I just started a fitness program that is 21 days straight of workouts😳 That may not seem like anything to you, but I just came off a program that had me working out only 4 days a week, and ohhhh how glorious that was! So why the change up? . I think it’s important to keep your body guessing and to also challenge yourself a little. While these workouts are only 30 minutes each and can be completed from home, 7 days a week will absolutely challenge me! But it’s 21 days short and a quick win! I can totally do that🙌🏼 . I hope you leave your space of comfortability and challenge yourself a little today! Even if it’s in the slightest way, go for it! Happy Monday!
