There comes a point where the laundry can no longer wait. . ➡️ ➡️ SWIPE ACROSS ➡️ ➡️ . Seriously though… help!?! I’m not sure I will ever be on top of it again. But somehow, drawing this, rather than dealing with it made me feel much better about it. 🤭🌈
My last post before baby girl gets here (throwback pic) ❤️ . • • Emotional, scared, sad, anxious, excited.. READY. Emotional, thinking about all of the new memories were going to make. Scared, with the thoughts of having to go through another C-section. Sad, knowing we are in the last days/moments of being a family of 3 & Brody being an only child. Anxious, not knowing exactly WHEN baby girl will make her appearance & just thinking about how the surgery can/will go. Excited to finally hold her in my arms! And ready to be a family of 4. ❤️ . • • Can’t wait to show off our baby girl when she finally makes her debut! For now.. I’m going to soak in the days, minutes, & seconds I have with just my little boy & my cute hubby. ❤️ #babygirliscomingsoon
Picking strawberries at Ma Ma's and they where good! When we move Joshua will have his own little raised garden to grow things in. He will make his Ma Ma very proud. (seeing as I'm hopless 😂) #greenfingers#homegrownstrawberries
Caught in the act!! It is amazing seeing her start to explore and her personality come out. I feel like she is 9 months going on 3 yrs. she is starting to want her independence of trying to stand walk etc but I swear I leave the room or even her sight for a second to do dishes , use the bathroom and if she notices she is by herself the fake cry starts😭😭. So needless to say not much gets done except during naptime. How does everyone get chores done while trying to entertain your children? #babygirl#babyootd#babymodel#mygirl#babyblingbows#blingyourbabe#sahmlife#onlychildproblems
I’m a firm believer in “if it’s not broken, then don’t fix it” but I totally mixed it up for lunch today and I’m def not mad about it! I sautéed the last of my pulled pork from Costco with some diced jalapeño and then added and scrambled 2 eggs with cheese. I topped it with @alternasweets BBQ sauce (y’all are going to get tired of me tagging you every time I use your sauces! 😜). This was super delicious and filling! * While Little Man was finishing up his lunch, I was making a vanilla ice cream base to put in the maker tonight. It tasted good so I’m excited to see how it turns out tonight. I used @basicbitchketo recipe plus added an unflavored gelatin packet to supposedly help with the frozen texture. Stay tuned! * We have had a busy morning with a quick meeting at 10 and then lots of dress up - a working man and then I’m not sure what (rain boots, a jingle bell necklace, and a pink jeweled ring 🤣). We are currently in “chill down” mode for nap! * * #keto#ketodiet#ketogenicdiet#ketogenic#ketosis#ketogeniclifestyle#ketoweightloss#ketopcos#pcosketo#ketoforpcos#pcos#sahmlife#sahm
Truth🙌🙌🙌 Running errands. Running up the stairs when you hear a thud followed by screaming. Running after my 3 yo when he escapes from the house and refuses to come back in. Huh, I guess I am a runner after all 😂🤷♀️ @mobtruths totally gets me!!! Make sure you’re following her for more!!
Our Father's Day card this year was a collaborative effort. 😊 I drew the simple characters to represent the kiddos with their Daddy, and my son painted them. There's something extra special about handmade items on special occasions, and it's always fun creating together! 🧡 My daughter colored the inside, and for my son's handwritten note, I suggested "We love you", but he insisted on "We love you on God", which according to him meant "when we are on God, then God's love is on us, and then we love other people". Which is about the greatest explanation I've ever heard, and a near perfect summation of the love passage in 1 John 4. 😭 #welovebecausehefirstlovedus#fathersday
Boy, you keep me on my toes! He is such an ornery, goofy, joyous boy! .. He is wild and sweet. One minute he’s head butting me in the nose, the next he’s kissing and hugging me. .. He is a quick learner. We’ve been working on expanding our vocabulary and he is picking it up quickly. He says “peese” and “dants.” He’s completely obsessed with trash trucks. And any construction vehicle. .. He is fearless, but within reason. As in, he’ll climb anything he can scramble up, but he’s not a fan of riding the ATV. 🤔 .. He is my little snuggle buddy and I LOVE it! We call him, Thatcher, Thatchers, thateronie. Roonie, roons, and buster. Anyone else use nicknames for their kids/dogs?
What to Wear Wednesday... the cutest (non-maternity) jumpsuit for under $30!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This looser style jumpsuit is perfect for summer paired with a tank & some sneakers or sandals for an easy everyday look! BONUS I also see myself wearing this into the fall with a long sleeve, booties & a motto jacket! I loving being able to invest in versatile pieces that easily transition in other seasons 👏🏻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I basically could wear some form of jumpsuit everyday since they are such an easy all-in-one outfit...are you loving them as much as I am?!
“Mom take a picture of us in our matching shoes” Summer is in full swing here!! I wish there was more ☀️ and less 🌧 especially since we are in swim lessons. One of the things really helping me is having a PLAN! I know I know, I’m not normally a plan ahead girl, but having just finished #triggersbook I realized I needed a plan or I was going to keep 🤯 😤😡So I’ll share my Easy Peasy plan with you. Each day my kids have 6 chores: 1. Make bed 2. Brush Teeth 3. Pickup Room/Play Room 4. Reading Time 5. Writing time (or coloring for Bear) 6. Play outside Once all these things are done they can have their Computer/IPad time. The amount of Computer/IPad time they get depends on how many tallies they have left by that time. They start with 6 tallies which each stand for 5 min of screen time. If they are not listening or are fighting/whining they loose a tally. This way I’m not constantly losing it😡😤😡 GUYS, I know we’ve only had 4 days of summer but it’s working!!! I’d love to hear what you are doing this summer to keep the chaos at a minimum. I’m always up to learning new tricks 😊#motherhood #summer#summerplan#sahmlife#stayathomemom#summerschedule#intentionalmotherhood#triggers#keens#summeradventures#lifewithkids#makingahouseahome
So far today has consisted of laundry, spilling my favorite drink in the car, lunch with Daddy at Firehouse Subs (we spilled another drink there), a trip to the library, a quick look around Big Lots for some americana decor to go on my front porch, listened to an audio of "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" by Beverly Cleary on the way home, and now we're all spread out in different directions. Some are playing together upstairs (that's always a good thing). One is outside taking care of a turtle, and one is running from a nap (not me...I'll gladly take one if someone would let me!).
Secret life of pets 2! His favourite scene is actually where Max saved one of the missing baby sheep, Cotton Tail?, that ran away. He said Max is brave. Hope he will grow up to be like Max, be brave and face challenges head-on. . My favourite scene is actually the crazy cat lady wearing shades, winding down the driver's window of her bouncing hip hop car, to rap music, after rolling over the evil sadistic Russian Circus Owner. 😆 . That aside, this movie resonated with many parents as there are several messages on parenting, delivered through Max and Rooster (New character, a farm herding dog in movie), all with a healthy dose of slapstick. . To ensure that his little human child, Liam, is on a path of success, Max tried to pave a path for him by protecting him from all 'deemed' dangers. The over-anxiety and overprotective child-rearing mentality displayed through Max's helicopter parenting, lead not only to a neurotic, paranoid Max but also a constantly angry dog. (Anything familiar?) . Failure is the mother of all success. Allowing the kid to fail and learn, he is actually one step closer to finding a way to succeed. Now, the real struggle is how can parents let go and let the kids garang 😆 . . #toddlersofinstagram#sgmom#momlife#mumlife#sgmum#sgparenting#sahmlife#sahmomlife#sgmums#sgtoddler#sgkids#sgchild#sgchildren#kidsg#parenting#parentlife#parentinglife#sgtoddlers#sgmummy#lifewithkids#singaporekids#igkids#kidstagram#instagram#instakid#instakids#sgmummyblogger

👑 A crown fit for a king 👑 ⠀ .⠀ Chase is home for the summer and we’re following a different theme for each week. Week 1: STICKS. We’ve been collecting on nature walks, counting them, comparing textures, crafting, etc. ⠀ .⠀ As soon as we came inside yesterday he promptly built a fort out of pillows and put his crown on!⠀ .⠀ He’s loving the 1-on-1 time he’s getting, and it’s clear in this picture he really does feel like king of the castle 👑
What’s your favorite quote of the week? Yvonne Pierre said, “Use what you’ve been through as fuel, believe in yourself and be unstoppable!” I love this quote because believing in myself is something I’ve been working toward for many years both as a mom and an entrepreneur ❤️ 📸 @meghannewberryphotography
Ready to push the reset button. Did you realize we are halfway through the year??? I’m ready to sit down and figure out where I’ve been and where I want to get to by the end of 2019. 💪🏼I’ve recently refocused on my “get strong” goal since we are on break from homeschool. I do my morning workout and then an afternoon and evening backyard walk. I recently added a #onemillionsteps challenge to help me MOVE more throughout the day. 🤓 Trying to get back into my personal development. I think I have to give up on another book. I’m just not into it and I’ve been trying to get through it for more than a month. Time to move on to something else. 👩💼Time to dive more into my business and set myself up to succeed. Cant succeed if you are going to work it. Need to touch my business everyday. #goalsetting2019#2019ismyyear#yearhalfover#areasoffocus
As a stay at home mommy of 2 active boys, my favorite thing to do when on vacation is to sit by the pool with a refreshing drink (btw that drink in the picture is my new favorite 😄🍹). My last vacation without them was to Vegas in April. I didn't think vacationing with girl friends was a possibility when I made the decision to say home. I feel so lucky that I was wrong! When I was in Vegas I heard stories of lives changed. So many stories. Some were big changes. Huge. Some were little changes. All inspiring. All these stories because someone reached out and someone said YES. Some of these people I don't know personally and others are some of my best friends in the world. They all MOVED me. Many of them stirred that spot in my chest that reminds me that we are ALL CONNECTED. We all feel for each other and want the best for our fellow humans. At the core that is what brings us JOY. In April our company announced something BIG that is going to change many more lives. A path to a different future. One that allows you to IMPACT your family and help make an impact on others. They opened the door to the #emergingfounder pool. PROFIT SHARES. I know every one of us has looked at a successful company and wished we had invested in them long ago. We imagine how our lives would be different if we had had that opportunity and said YES. I'm here to add to that list of stories. I would love to have yours be one of them.
Top left: 𝘖𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟹 postpartum hair at its finest •pun intended• 😭 I had a 7 month old and 2 year old. Thinning, lifeless, super oily at the roots, super dry at the ends. This was before I chopped it all off to make it “look” thicker. Bottom left: 𝘖𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟼 more hair loss, more hair cuts, balding, yo yo dieting (which reeks havoc on your hair by the way), still washing every day or every other day and totally desperate for a fix. I would also wear it half up a lot to cover the #bald spot in the back of my head☹️. Self confidence at an all time low. Right: 𝘔𝘢𝘺 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟿 2 years exclusive on my new hair care routine and I NEVER have to worry about what hair products to use ever 👏🏻ever 👏🏻ever 👏🏻never 👏🏻again. I can go 5-7 days with no wash, my hair is even healthier than •before• I had kids, and the best part: a single bottle of shampoo lasts me 100 washes, so I spend LESS time and LESS money on my hair and more time doing what I love 🙌🏻 “Let’s Fix Your Hair” by Maryam Cotten I switch up between all the products now (perks of being a market partner 😆) but in the beginning I started with the intense repair shampoo, Intense repair treatment, Intense Repair conditioner, leave in conditioner. I used that exclusively for 2 months. Then after 2 months, I changed to the renew shampoo. but I still use everything else and have added the blow out cream, thermal protectant, and frizz Fix primer. Only use the intense repair shampoo if your hair is thinning so badly you can almost see the scalp or have a bald spot.
Beach snuggles and a reminder that such a big part of motherhood is “transitions.” Babies transitioning from a bassinet to a crib, transitioning from 3 naps to 2, or in this case transitioning off of the bottle. While Mackenzie did move over to whole milk after turning one, she hasn’t yet dropped the “baba.” Her adjustment to our big move to St Pete, combined with MORE teething (canines now) and a learning leap has made life a little crazy lately. The bottle transition hasn’t been my priority. I think most of us have experienced a transition that didn’t occur exactly when we read it should. I’ve certainly stressed over it in the past, but now 15 months into this job of motherhood I say: Who cares! It’ll happen! 🤷🏼♀️❤️ End the #momguilt & #momshaming
Leading a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to mean not eating out with friends and family. I was able to meet up with a friend today, chat about business, meet her sweet daughter, and eat amazing food! All staying health focused. It’s just about making the right choices 😉 Mediterranean frittata at Egg & I ✔️💥
I want to share a little insight into a journey we’ve most recently been on with Miss.Zoey Rae. . If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know that I’m a label reader. I can scope out words like “fragrance”, “parfume”, “yellow 5” “sodium laurel sulfate” and so many others, like no ones business 🙅🏼♀️. . But somehow, I let the ball drop with Zoey’s formula. However, I refuse to beat myself up, because as mamas we are just trying to do the best we can for our kiddos. But, now that I know better, I want to do better for her. . I had no idea, that the number one ingredient in her formula was corn syrup solids 😩. Like so many formulas I know, it’s gonna be hard to find one without “crap” in it. Honestly cannot believe certain things are in there, and these companies are stating safe for our babies in the most crucial time in their life where everything is growing and developing. So misleading to us! . I’m on a mission of finding a cleaner solution for Miss.Zoey! I’ve contemplated inducing lactation 😬, donor milk, goats milk formula, making homemade formula, ordering from Germany and the U.K. (their regulations are so much more strict over their). All the things, I’ve looked into! . I’ve semi settled on a brand I PRAY PRAY PRAY will be good on her stomach, I can get her off the one she’s on and we can move forward. . Any insight on this, I’m all ears! But aiming to know better so I can do better for my sweet girl ☺️. And think I should mention this too, as I felt guilty after first finding this out... if you’re on a mom journey of any kind...small baby, toddler, tween/teen, college student.. you’re doing a great job mom! The love for your child does not go unnoticed!
I don’t know about you guys but I feel like 90% of our grocery run is always produce! SO thankful we have this on hand to wash all the yuckies off all our beloved fruits and veggies. Side note: We buy organic and still use this wash. Thinking of all the hands that touch produce during harvest, transit, and in the store makes me 🤢
'I wish I would have started sooner' -Every. Single. MP. Why do we do that? Why do we watch, and watch, and need to think it over for weeks, or months...when deep down, we know we want in. 🙋🏼♀️ 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐭. There's no downside to a side hustle. And there's 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 no down side to healthy hair. 🙌🏻 MP’s-I'm calling you out! HOW LONG did you watch before joining? HOW LONG did it take for you to realize this was one of the best decisions you've ever made?
Exactly 9 years ago, this sweet girl gave me the greatest gift of all ... becoming a mother💕 Today we celebrate YOU! Chloe was born at 7:48am weighing in at 7.0 lbs, 19 1/2“ ... 9 years ago today 💕 Happiest of birthdays to our beauiful Chloe🎀
Today, we take our R&R outside. Because if a big piece of #csectionrecovery is sitting and taking it easy, what better way to do so than in the fresh air🌬with sunshine beating down ☀️ and the smell of yard work🌺 in the background. This summertime feelin is just as good for the mind as it is for the body 🤗 Do you feel an instant uplift when you get outside on a beautiful day too?
