This is my beautiful friend, @caseycline_ . She has been instrumental in my running journey and in my life... as we figure all this out one step at a time 😅. And we met on Instagram. How amazing is that? I’m so grateful for her and the people I’ve met through this #runningmyselftogether journey. I never in a million years would’ve thought that running would have impacted my life the way it has. That it would’ve pushed me through my eating disorder and helped me through bouts of anxiety and depression. That it would bring me closer to Christ (yes!!) and that I would have a community of people supporting me along the way. SO COOL. . And that’s why I started this blog and platform. I want you to know how amazing it feels to take care of yourself - mind, body, and soul - and to be surrounded by love. So, as I prepare for some great things in 2019 (like creating a beautiful workout journal with the amazing @bonjourbrandstudio), I would love to hear from you. The good thing about being in center city for the weekend is a fresh new running route and a flashback to the Philadelphia Marathon ☺️🏃🏼♀️The rain had no damper on my mood while running the Schuylkill River Trail and through the city. It’s a good start to my weekend and even better end to my crazy week. Thank you all for your sweet words and messages this week. Feeling good after this mornings run! Got in another 6 miles to kick off the morning. Best part about getting your run/workout done earlier is that you have the whole day in front of you. I always feel like I’m cheating the day by waking up early and getting some work in 😂. Day 342 - Belarus 🇧🇾 Minsk to Ukraine 🇺🇦 Kiev — Let me share with you my... — Top 10 Airport Lounge Laws. — Unidentifiable food items - potentially savoury or sweet but must not be fresh in any way. — Decorative styling of the lounge must be developed by only those aged 5 and under. — If a coffee machine is available it must permanently be stuck on the rinse cycle and therefore entirely unusable, while giving the impression it is functional until buttons are pressed. — Those whose work in such establishments should attempt to maintain a strong and vacant frown at all times. Furthermore, no staff should in any way appear to be helpful, or vaguely interested in anything you say. — Bread if available must contain nothing but sugar and be at the minimum, three days old. Soft, spongy, fresh bread is not permitted. — Soup must always be provided without flavour, colour or thickness. Bathwater is ideal, if a little too flavoursome. — Seating areas must be cramped, with a clinical feel, yet hold a minimum of 3 unsavoury stains. Awesome race this morning to raise 💵 for The Underprivileged Children’s Foundation. All proceeds are going to buying Christmas 🎁 for kids in cabell and surrounding counties.
