Classic scene from “Eyes Wide Shut” lol...but also...a learning opportunity! . 🤓 Did you know CBD counters the negative side effects of THC? . Unpleasant side effects from THC such as anxiety, paranoia, and “the munchies” (or if “this pot is making you aggressive”) can be calmed or alleviated by ingesting CBD. . ☯️ “CBD interacts with THC in complex ways, diminishing certain effects (the munchies, sleepiness, the high) while augmenting others,” writes Martin A. Lee in his book, Smoke Signals. “Cannabidiol balances the buzz and softens the euphoria–or, in some cases, the dysphoria–induced by THC, which, in concentrated form, can make people feel very loopy and weird. CBD is the yin of THC’s yang.” .

Hello, IG and FB friends and following! I have some big news regarding Heartbreak Alchemy. As you may already know, last summer I entered into an exciting business partnership focused on healing heartbreak. You may have taken an intimate survey to help us out. You may have been following Heartbreak Alchemy on IG or The Heartbreak Alchemists on FB. You may have cheered us along and supported us in other ways. Maybe you were just curious or happy to see what we were working on. And because all of that is greatly appreciated, I feel it’s important to let you know that Jannae and I have decided to end our business partnership. Although it started off as a beautiful coming together of ideas we both had prior to partnering, plus some fun times of co-creation, there were also tough times that revealed some fundamental differences. So, we talked about what wasn’t working, took a break, and then returned with new & improved communication skills and new systems in place to assist us. In some ways there was a feeling of being back on track. But deep down, it just didn’t feel right anymore. And without going into details, if we had to share a reason for this split, I think the best way to put it is simply “irreconcilable differences.” Naturally, I feel some disappointment and grief, but the truth is I mostly feel excitement and relief. One thing I’ve learned is that although it’s good to explore and try new things, when it’s not working out, don’t give up right away, but also don’t stick around too long. Being committed and working through challenges is important. But so is knowing when to move on. Although I’m feeling pretty awesome right now, like I said, there were also some tough times along the way. So, a few weeks ago, I turned that shit into gold by putting together a free little guide called “9 Tips for Tough Times.” Link in IG bio and FB cover photo. 💝 Thanks again for being part of this journey! It means a lot to me, and I'm
Self-care 💫 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Self-care reduces the negative effects of stress: A small amount of stress can serve a purpose, but after a while, it just breaks down your mind and body. Taking care of yourself means keeping your stress from taking over so you can function at full capacity.

“Comparison is the thief of joy.” . 5 reasons to stop comparing yourself to others: . 1. You become more grateful - Comparing ourselves to other people makes us think about the things we don’t have, which is a great way to cause suffering. When you focus on yourself you’ll realize that your life isn’t so bad after all and that you have a lot of things to be grateful for. 2. You escape the drama - When you lose the need to compare yourself with other people you’ll lose the need to want to comment about other people in a negative way. 3. You become more motivated - Comparing yourself to others drains your energy . Focusing only on what you need to do will help you to create momentum in your life. 4. You will take your time - The less you compare yourself to others, the more you’ll run your race at your own pace. 5. You will build self-confidence - When you focus on yourself the things that make you unique and valuable, you will build a level of confidence that you’ve never had before. . . #safety#emergencypreparedness#prepare#family#familygoals#prepareyourself#safetyfirst#diaster#relief#disasterrelief#wildfire#tsunami#hurricane#tornado#earthquake#myredfolder#housefire#fire#flooding#midwestflooding#wisewords#wisequotes
