Week 16: Good win against the Texans in the snow. The defense played very well. The offensive line played great and held JJ Watt back. Wentz played good, too, who threw an early touchdown pass to JuJu. Jake Elliot was 3/3 for field goals in the snow and with strong winds. We are now 4-11. Also we are projected to have the first overall pick because I traded for the bengal’s first round pick. They are 2-13. We don’t need Tua, so I might trade down.
Seriously tho is it Eli Manning’s fault tho that the giants suck?? Or is it the ppl AROUND him that make him suck?? Cuz maybe he’s too old now I guess. But he did win two Super Bowls, that too against BRADY, and one of them against the UNDEFEATED patriots so I’m confused... and even though coughlin retired, in 2016, he led the giants to the playoffs, only to to lose to packers horribly. Ben McAdoo was there until November 2018. Now they got Pat Shurmur. Former coach of the browns and now odell is gone. BUT! They have Saquon Barkley, number ONE overall pick from penn state. A talented and elite running back. Sadly, they lost some key defensive players. Eli Apple left the Big Apple to join the Saints. Landon Collins saw opportunity in the nation’s capital. JPP wanted to unplug in Tampa. Knock, knock, who’s there? Eli’s older brother, Peyton Manning, retired in 2016 after successfully defeating the 15-1 Carolina Panthers in America’s biggest game. Eli Manning’s last super bowl win was in 2011 FYI with Victor Cruz by his side. So is Eli Manning the reason the giants stink? Probably yes and no. Yes because Eli is only elite when he has good people around him. No, because he can’t lead a team with mediocre players to the postseason. Eli had Michael Strahan in his super bowl for the 2007-08 season. However, based on the facts, my answer would be no. Eli Manning only is good when there is talent around him. And he had OBJ last season. What happened? McAdoo got fired, giants finished 5-11 (so no playoffs) and OBJ came to Cleveland. How utterly, utterly disappointing. And as a redskins fan, who would despise the giants, I say that Eli is probably getting old. He’s currently 38, running for 39 in January. And I’m sorry to break it to giants fans, but Eli is not Tom Brady. If he was, the giants would’ve got to the playoffs. I think they should find a new quarterback and keep Eli on the benches. Eli’s clearly too old for this kind of stuff. Let
