Lavamos bien las setas y las llevamos a una sartén. 2. Las pochamos hasta que estén bien cocinadas. 3. Sazonamos al gusto con sal y pimienta. 4. Añadimos un chorrito de aceite de oliva. 5. Batimos los huevos y los incorporamos. 6. Bajamos el fuego y tapamos la sartén. 7. Cocinamos hasta que cuaje y damos la vuelta. 8. Añadimos un poquito de cebollino cortado. 9. ¡Listo! Stress manifests inside the body 🤯 It will make you feel shitty. It will make losing weight challenging (literally, your body will hold onto fat because of the stress hormones release). It will make sticking to your commitments tough because you go into this “all-or-nothing” thinking, like making you want to binge on unhealthy food since you already had some or give up all together☹️ Let go of all the guilt and shame you feel about your thoughts, your body, and your diet and exercise habits 😌  Each time you feel guilt or shame - let it GO & move on, my friend. 🥰  Remember it is CONSISTENCY that will transform your body & life.  Indulging in your favorite treats is GOOD. I ENCOURAGE my clients to do this! I teach them how and when to do this so they don’t feel the need to over-indulge 🍕🍔🍟😍 I don’t want you to eat 100%, clean 100% of the time. ✨ Celery Juice 101 ✨ ~ You guys really seem to be into the blended celery juice video I posted about two weeks ago 🙌🏻 So, I just wanted to pop in and give you a little Celery Juice 101 🙃 Here are a few things I’ve learned since making it regularly: ~Depending on where you buy your celery from it massively affects the flavor. I found that celery from farmers markets and @wholefoods tastes the best 👌🏻 ~Don’t juice the leaves, it tastes terrible - way too earthy 🤣 ~ You totally DON’T need a juicer to make celery juice (just watch my video to see how 😉) ~ You can use the pulp to flavor and make stock for veggie soup 🙌🏻 ~ It’s best to have it on an empty stomach (this is when you’ll reaped the benefits of cleverly juice since it’s known for detoxifying and cleaning the liver ~ If you don’t have time in the morning to juice just do it the night before and keep it in an airtight container in the fridge. It’s been a minute since I shared some baking with you guys so I’m coming in hot today with what might just be my favourite recipe yet! Half of me loves this because it’s so freakin’ good, and the other half loves it because it was SO easy. My time-saving muesli slice trick is this: instead of getting out jars of different ingredients, I just used a cup of @byronbaymuesli gluten-free granola as the base of this recipe and my blend was already all made up! Here’s how I did it: BASE 1/2 cup gluten free muesli 1/2 cup gluten free flour (I used @outbackharvest brown teff flour) 1 egg 1 tbsp tahini 1 tbsp maple syrup 1/4 cup almonds (optional – I just love them and the muesli mix I used doesn’t have them) . TOP ½ block dark chocolate – I used 85% from @nakedfoods 2 tbsp tahini 1 tbsp maple syrup (if your chocolate isn’t that sweet) Rose petals to top Combine all base ingredients and press into the base of a non-stick tray. Bake at 180 degrees for approx. 20 minutes and remove. Melt the chocolate, tahini and maple syrup together in a bowl, stir and pour over the base. Been an 11-4 lectures day followed by a nap and dinner, had chicken fajitas tonight 🍗 As much as I complain about illness, I am very grateful for my support network in uni, from helping with lecture work to making food 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 Until I'm well and my cough has gone, I'm not risking it anymore (and making it worse) by trying to push through with training when my body just can't cope with it right now 😫 It's a shame and I hate not gyming/swimming/cycling but I know it's for the best... Wow that was a sad one but illness test results back soon and hopefully this'll all be over 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Here's what I made for dinner yesterday: veggie cous cous and garlic and herb chicken 🍗🍗🥗🥗🥘 Although I'm not training, my appetite is still pretty good (not in the mornings atm but in the night time gimme gimme gimme) 😂😂 Either way I'm gaining a smidge of weight and losing some tone but I'm trying not to let this bother me. An oldie but goodie, BANANA PB COLLAGEN smoothie. Made a little differently this time. Check out the recipe below⬇️ Blend: • 1 frozen banana • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract • splash or two of almond milk • 1 tbsp peanut butter • 1 scoop collagen peptides I added 1 chopped @justins dark chocolate peanut butter cup to stir in at the end. 🤤Recipe adapted from @thekitchn

We just returned home last night from Utah ❄️⛷and we are low on fresh food. So lunch today was a sweet potato topped with cilantro, parsley, dulse flakes, red pepper flakes, curry powder, garam masala, pink salt + black pepper 🙌🍠🌿...with some dates on the side. As much as I used to love biting right into a juicy date, I now remove the pit with my hands or a knife. Why?  Because I bit into a date last week and broke off a piece of my tooth! 😫 It was right before our trip too, so I was a little stressed. BUT, I am grateful for a local holistic dentist who squeezed me in and patched it all up with some porcelain concoction that doesn’t contain any metals. So the moral of this story is, don’t bite directly into dates with a pit! 💚 Trust me. 😅
Killed that post holiday sweat sesh!! 💦💦💦 while snowshoeing yesterday was awesome it didn't burn a whole lotta calories so it felt really good to get moving today! I went with cardio cuz I loathe it and figured I should get it outta the way for a few days! 😊 > > My motivation has been so on and off since my vacay 🤷‍♀️ but as always, my overall outlook on life is better when I workout, I know this!! Before I started eating more paleoish diet I loved having a dessert after my meals, and when I first started paleoish eating I thought I would never be able to have dessert again... now I know that is totally not true at all! In fact, I have dessert after almost every meal I have now! Without the artificial sugars, refined sugars, or terrible tummy ache after! My desserts mostly consist of fruit (dried and fresh) like berries or bananas, paleo chocolate, protein bars (I know I’m weird but honestly Rx bars taste AMAZING🤤), and nuts and seeds. The picture I posted is one of my all time favorite desserts right now and is filled with tons of fiber, protein, and sweet deliciousness!!✨ Here’s how to make it: ⁣ ⁣ Ingredients: ⁣ - 1/4 cup chia seeds⁣ - 1 cup of your favorite milk (almond, coconut, macadamia nut, etc)⁣ - 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (I used a vanilla one so it gave my chia pudding plenty of flavor without having to add any extracts or sweeteners. If you want it sweeter try adding maple syrup, stevia, honey or agave nectar)⁣ - your favorite fruits, nuts and seeds to top it! ⁣ ⁣ Directions: ⁣ 1. Combine your chia seeds, milk, protein powder (and sweetener if needed) in to a small bow and mix together. Once everything is combined let it set for at least 2-3 hours (overnight would be best).⁣ 2. Place your chia pudding in to a bigger bowl if you want more room for toppings, or if the bowl you used is large enough just add your toppings and enjoy! 🥰✨
