Tag a mom in the comments who you admire and who inspires you! We created Lynley’s Reading School to support moms. Our courses are designed so that even if a mom has no knowledge of how to teach a child to read, they can pick up our course, follow the instructions, and watch their child begin to love reading! We know being a mom makes you so busy, and that’s why we designed the program so that as soon as your child completes the first few courses, they can actually go through the program on their own! Click the link in our bio @lynleysreadingschool for more information on our courses. We’re on Kickstarter this month at a big discount, don’t miss out!
👆🏽This is a book that every mom should read! 💯(Finished reading it yesterday). . 📖 In “The Confident Mom” God has taught me a lot. Some of it was that in His eyes I am perfect because He is perfect, that He still loves me the same, and that every day I can start over. I know that a lot of times we (moms) feel guilty, in my case for not giving my children enough time, for disciplining them and correcting them or not as I should, sometimes for being very hard on them, for not giving them everything or for giving them more than I should. There were times I found myself crying while reading some pages. In others, I laughed so hard. It made me realized that at the end of the day the Holy Spirit is my greatest Helper. I stopped thinking that my mistakes were going to ruin my kids’ lives. I also learned that besides meditating on the Word of God or applying Stress Away and Peace and Calming I need to be confessing scriptures out loud to myself and to my children. Has there been any days you felt the same way? . . In my journal I wrote several quotes from this book, but this was one of my favorites: “God will help you succeed as a mom and fulfill His plans through you not because you’re perfect but because He is perfect.” . . 👩🏻👦🏻👧🏻 Definitely the best and most important job in the world is being a MOM! Keep enjoying it to the fullest. 🌈 . . I leave you with this “mom verse”. “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 #theconfidentmom#book#reading#readingisfundamental#momlife#momofgirlandboy#bestjobever#raisingreaders#sharingfrommyheart#peaceandcalmingeveryday#wordofgodeveryday#kidsconfessions#momconfessions#momverse#2timothy1v7#soundmind#power#love#nofear#holyspiritmyhelper

Title: The Autobiography of Malcolm X Author: Alex Haley Summary: “By any means necessary!”. One of the many quotes of a man who was loved, hated, and respected all at the same time (from both blacks and whites). Malcolm X unapologetically loved black people. But what is lost in his brashness, was a man who was looking for the truth his whole life. From his incredibly poor upbringings, to his life as a dope peddler/pimp/robber, to his life in jail, to his following of the Nation of Islam, to his trip to Mecca, his change of perspective on people of different colors, to ultimately his death, Malcolm X gives a raw account of his life in a way no one has. Regardless of your feelings towards him, I would recommend this book, specifically because the end of his life on earth was a transformation that most of us don’t know. This is a book I read once a year, and its intense. You will be mad, you will laugh, you may disagree with his ideas. But I read not for what I know already, but for insight for a man who wasn’t afraid to speak his mind and who was constantly looking to better himself and his people. Great read 😎🤓 #bookclub#plofabookclub#springreading#youarewhatyouread#readingisfundamental#educateyourself#bookstagram#readeveryday#reading#malcolmx#theautobiographyofmalcolmx#alexhaley#byanymeansnecessary#latepost
