At the library and she finds a bug. She was obsessed with it for a solid 5 minutes. But then I pulled her away to pick out books. How dare I😆 • But really. It’s amazing how captivated kids get at the littlest (literally) things. Things, we as adults, see and think nothing of. Literally nothing. And if we do think something, we think about the fact that it’s inside. Yet this littlest one befriends it and cares for it by gently holding it in her hand and carefully watches it as it began to crawl up her sleeve. I like to think they became friends for a quick minute. So once again, my girls. You teach mommy to just chill the heck out and enjoy the little things. . . . . . #babygirl#bugs#library#thelittlethings#moments

Back Cover: Tessa Tarrington's life is swirling out of control. No job. No apartment. Sick Dad...And she's back in high school! Teaching at her Gibson's Run alma mater would be tolerable, except she's sharing purgatory with her mortal enemy, Ryland Jessup. But eight years post-high-school, and after tragedies she can barely understand, Ryland no longer fits her mental image of the over-sized bully he once was. In fact, much to her disgust, he's finding his way into her heart. After the sudden death of his wife, Ryland hung up his professional shoulder pads and picked up a whistle. Now he's focused on coaching the high school football team and raising his daughter. The sudden return of his childhood crush, Tessa Tarrington, has reawakened long-ago feelings. But if God's giving him a second chance to impress Tessa, the Man Upstairs has a funny way of showing it. Just when Tessa starts to lighten up, Ryland's best friend returns. Will the always-irresistible Joey Taylor stifle any hope Ryland has to ignite the dream of a relationship with Tessa? After YEARS of hearing this one recommended to me, I finally read Devil in the White City by Erik Larson! I love his brand of narrative nonfiction, and this did not disappoint. He weaves together the story of how the Chicago World’s Fair came together, along with the simultaneous rise of serial killer H.H.Holmes. At times I had difficulty seeing the connection between the two narratives, because they are so radically different...but in the end, I quickly realized that neither story would have been complete without the other. Not always the most captivating read (the architecture details could be especially slow at times), but overall it’s definitely an impressive piece of storytelling! #bookreview#devilinthewhitecity#eriklarson#nonfiction
Have you guys seen the cover for @misterkristoff and @amiekaufmanauthor new book AURORA RISING? • art and cover design by: @charliebowater and @debrabillson • The year is 2380, and the graduating cadets of Aurora Academy are being assigned their first missions. Star pupil Tyler Jones is ready to recruit the squad of his dreams, but his own boneheaded heroism sees him stuck with the dregs nobody else in the Academy would touch… A cocky diplomat with a black belt in sarcasm A sociopath scientist with a fondness for shooting her bunkmates A smart-ass techwiz with the galaxy’s biggest chip on his shoulder An alien warrior with anger management issues A tomboy pilot who’s totally not into him, in case you were wondering And Ty’s squad isn’t even his biggest problem—that’d be Aurora Jie-Lin O’Malley, the girl he’s just rescued from interdimensional space. Trapped in cryo-sleep for two centuries, Auri is a girl out of time and out of her depth. But she could be the catalyst that starts a war millions of years in the making, and Tyler’s squad of losers, discipline-cases and misfits might just be the last hope for the entire galaxy. They’re not the heroes we deserve. They’re just the ones we could find. “Disasters come and go like rain. Sometimes you find a shelter before it is late, Sometimes you don't, but you have to keep moving nonetheless, keep looking forward”. Book review - INKREDIA, Luwan of brida. By Sarang Mahajan . Luwan who lives at the hillside village of Brida, in the country of Inkredia, where villagers are pestered by the guards of Lord Gruwak. Luwan problems arises when he refuses tax collector to pay, and Luwan very well know that death is the sole punishment for this ! What will he do now ?, How will he cope with this situation ?, should he run away from Brida ?, And what about her sister, Meg ? Should they both run away from here? Finally they both decides to run away safely from Brida with the help of his friend Narjo, but they do not know that their fate has decided something else, something different for them ! The narration was perfect, it keeps me engaged till I completed the book, language was easy and smooth. Talking about the characters, I personally likes Kiliarn, he was perfect. Also the every creatures, authors has used in this book was good, well written. You can easily draw structures of all those creatures in your mind . I appreciate the author for his well created, described dark creatures like smokemans, nonhumans, how he able to imagine all these things ? Ending of the book was really good, now I'm eagerly waiting for the next book, I think it's going to be 4 books in series isn't it ? And yes of course the book is very promising and definitely a worth read. Don’t feel like running? We’re thinking about the work it takes and not the calories we’ll burn to help you get the body we want. ——— Don’t feel like studying? We’re thinking about how it’s sorta boring and not the knowledge we’re going to get out of it. ——— It Apply’s to anything that produces resistance in your life. Opportunity vs obligation was a concept I heard from an @etthehiphoppreacher speech and I always come back to it. When you don’t feel like doing something, shift your thinking from focusing on the negative part of it, to focusing on the positive part!
We have to be aware of what is going on around us. It’s sooo easy just to become blind to a life we have that lacks improvements. That just treadmills along with no real progress or gain. This is the trap of life, losing the perspective to see we all have so much more to give but not believing in it deep down. —— I know all of us have something we know we should be doing but just aren’t, for whatever reason. Maybe it “doesn’t make sense right now” or “not the right time” or it’s “something I’ll get too soon”, no matter what it is, we have to be aware of it. Letting it sit tucked away in the corner or our house is a sad feeling that causes stress every time you think about it, because you know you’re capable of so much more. ——— If we do the same thing as yesterday we’re stuck and nothing changes. It’s the same life we’re okay with, because if we weren’t okay with it, we wouldn’t be in this life. If nothin else i just want to remind you that that “thing” is still hiding in the corner, trying to go unnoticed to prevent you from being uncomfortable. ——
This bad month is going to end with ending of all the bad things. my mood was just like a “huh” in this month. This was not a good month for me. I have not done anything which I can be proud of, but except for one. But after all the bad days, it's time for new good days to come. I am very excited for the month of October, because it is my favorite month of the year, probably because it is the month of the festivals. But instead of the bad things, some good things have happened to me in this month as I have achieved 500 followers, again I want to thank you all for your love and support, keep showing your love and support. . Talking about this month again. I have planned many things this month to do but guess what I have not done anything like, I had to read all the books in the series this month but I have not read it instead of the first book. As you can see in pictures, I have completed four books this month. First is the Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Which was the best book of the month, and the second book, I still think about you by Arpit Vageria was not worth it, I do not like the book very much. The third book was eleventh hour by S. Hussain Zaidi. It was a light and was a quick read. And the last book, Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar by Kochery C Shibu, I am currently reading this, and I liking this book very much, it is the perfect book for a good Indian Vibes. So these four books i have been completed this month. Two book that I loved the most in this month was Twilight and Men and dreams in the Dhauladhar iam loving this book it's a perfect one for Indian vibes well written characters, I want to talk more about this book but I have to wait till I complete the book and post a review of this book . At last I hope the next month will be a good productive month for me, I can finish all my works on time! . . #bookstagrammer#bookstagram#bookworm#booklover#bookish#bibliophile#books#book#bookaddict#booknerd#reading#bookaholic#instabook
JUST DON'T STAY THERE . The amount of times I have fallen off my dreamed path is sick. "It won't happen again," has been an anthem of mine in the past. It is okay to fall down. I truly believe if you stop a workout regimen, healthy diet, or any other way of bettering your life, it's okay. What isn't okay is to stay down. You just have to keep lasting longer and longer each and every attempt. Don't let failure keep you down. Shake it off, get back up, and shoot for better results this time around. Everyone fails, just don't stay down there if you do. . Fedupfitness.com/blog/023
Think about it... why would you have to open with that if your default was truth and honesty. Other expressions like “with all due respect” and “I’ll be straight with you.” Apply as well. If we preface our comments with these, it’s a clear cut sign that our normal speech is skewed in the opposite direction . Just a thought exercise I heard from Marcus Aurelius, a Roman Emperor from 161-180: What do you think? Thoughts??
I know far too many people personally who drink every weekend, it's disgustingly pointless. Vacation or weekend relaxation, it does not matter. . . When you are younger than 40, this is the time to go all in and set yourself up for the next 50 years, not have fun for the next 5 hours at the bar. So many people fail to have a real sense of the world. Everyone is living for the now, having fun with the bros, but where does that end? It brings all of you in this weekend-by-weekend lifestyle that is a one-way ticket to mediocrity. Sure, you're having fun, but at the expense of a real life. . The bars, the girls (or guys), the partying, it's the same concert different seats. •
IT DOESN'T LAST . Do you even really remember the feeling you got from that piece of pizza or bag of candy you ate? If you forgot, just look down at your stomach, it might refresh your memory. Food is one of those things that when it's over, it's fucking over. All the enjoyment you got from it is gone, like you literally have nothing positive to show for it, but you keep all the negatives that come with that moment. When you eat poorly, assuming you want to be physically fit, you have to pay that back in the form of discipline and time. You don't just get to eat whatever you want and look how you want. . The best way I've learned to control this is to remind myself that it just doesn't last. When it's over, it's over but all the shit that comes with it stays. It's like fat debt. You spend all this "money" by eating whatever you want, but like real life debt, you have to pay it back. You don't just get to spend whatever you want in life and not pay it back. When you look in the mirror, or down, you see all the "money" you owe, just remember all those "purchases" are long gone but you still gotta pay it back. Like it's so much worse than actually buying things, because you actually get to keep things. You have unnecessary things you have around the house that you can, at the very least, sell later when you realize you didn't need it, but diet doesn't work like that. Food is like going out to the bars every weekend, you're looking for this temporary enjoyment that only spends your time and money in exchange for like 3 hours of fun, and then you go out the next weekend and do the same thing because the feeling doesn't last. . Start thinking about if the things you do actually last. Are you moving forward, or backward? Are you looking and feeling better and better, or worse and worse each week. We only get one life as far as we all know, start acting like it
“Because if you plays your card right, success will surely come, even if it's at the Eleventh Hours”. #thenirvanareads#thenirvanareview Plot - Book begins with Vikrant Singh, a senior Police officer in National Investigation Agency who still has the memories of the drastic terror attack of 26//11 lingering in the abyss of his minds land a blow on the Pakistani High Commision Zakir Abdul Rauf Khan, who still is on visit to India, Vikrant Singh is suspended till further notice but he appointent as a consultant and unofficialy asked to assistant the team track the five member of Indian Mujahideen who had broken out of the Central Jail of Bhopal . Review - The book has lots of a sundry of characters, each with a distinctive trail of their own but although only a few of them makes impact on the book. The book is divided into chapters which makes flow shifting to place to place. The plot revolves around the two big terrorist attacks on Mumbai -26/11 and the serial blast of 1993 and a possible third attack bigger than these two . Due to being a lot of characters in the book, you will sometimes not understand what is going on. The book grows at a very slow speed, I do not like the narration of the book. As you move forward, the book starts getting better and you will feel like thrilled. Pros and cons - •Lots of characters makes the plot sometimes confusing. •The narration of the story is not that good . •Book covers the real incidents which is good. •The book shows the bravery and hardworks of Indian Forces . •Overall, the book is good, not very good but it is good. •Ratings - 3/5 . . . #bookstagrammer#bookstagram#bookworm#booklover#bookish#bibliophile#books#book#bookaddict#booknerd#reading#bookaholic#instabook#booksofinstagram#bookphotography#bookstagramfeature#bookblogger#igreads#read#reader#bookshelf#bookishfeatures#instabooks#currentlyreading#ilovebooks#bookgeek#readersofinstagram#bookreview
How come more people aren't hungry for their ideal success? Everyone is so scared of what the world thinks. If you go out and try something you really believe in and fail, they act like its the end of the world. We need more people who don't give a damn what the world thinks or determines normal or acceptable. We need more people to rock the boat and stand out. We need people with the heart of the assassin. Cold blooded killers who will stop at nothing to achieve their dreams and goals. . . TAKE AWAY . . Be your own person. Become someone who doesn't settle for anything less than what they truly want in life. And don't let others determine your life.
