Lesa did an amazing job piecing this gorgeous quilt! Swipe left for a close up. The fabrics are all Primitive Gathering’s flannels set on point. The pattern is written by Lisa Bongean. It was a bit challenging to piece and I know Lesa is SO happy to have it finished!!! It is huge -about 94 x 96“ and it weighs a ton 😂! The long arm pattern I used is called Spilled Ink
Saturday Mystery Sampler 2019 Sign Up Starts Feb 2, 2019, 12 month program Here's how it works: Pay $80 upfront fee. Each month you will receive a packet to make a portion of the quilt. When you return the next month to pick up your packet, you will receive it FREE as long as you have brought back your finished previous months section and pick it up in person. If you miss picking up the packet, you will be charged $5. Not to punish anyone, just to keep you on track and send you forward on your progress. This sampler will cover many different techniques to stretch you to learn different things. Machine applique, foundation paper piecing, simple piecing, dresden plate, etc. We hope you will love what we picked out because we sure do! Finished project size is 56" by 72". Your sign up fee covers the pattern and all fabric needed for the blocks. Each new portion of the quilt will be ready to picked up on the first Saturday of each month. Want it mailed? We will need to make arrangements for that as you will have to prove to us your previous month's homework is finished by the first Saturday of each month before you are mailed your next portion. It's possible with today's technology! Call and ask for Karen at 704-971-0351. HINT: we like bright, happy colors! Don't forget to tag your quilting buddies! We're adding some scrap bundles behind the scenes as we make our way through a giant quilter's stash that was dropped off. Most of the designs are traditional yet classic. I have only encountered a few that are truly awful - but those dusty blue geese from the late 80's are about due for a comeback anyway right?
This cold and snowy weather in New Jersey has us counting the days until Spring!! (45!! 💐🌸💮🏵️🌹) Thankfully, our shop is full of lovely floral prints like these that we can gaze upon in the meantime. What quilt pattern is your go to for florals?
