These are a few of my favorite things... 1. Sunflowers- I just love the happiness that sunflowers make me feel. They make my soul smile. I will be planting them everywhere. I love all types of sunflowers 🌻 2. The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt! I finished reading this incredible book! This unique novel left me wanting to read more about the characters yet completely satisfied with the narrative. I appreciated the way Donna Tartt told the story in such intense detail. I love when a book and it’s characters leave an impression on me that won’t be erased. I’d put this book on the same shelf as Gone With the Wind, Little House on the Prairie, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Harry Potter, The Good Earth, My Antonia🌻 3. Harney and Sons Organic English breakfast tea in my super smooth Harney and Sons mug ☕️ 4. Puzzles 🧩 - I adore everything about puzzles. I love how they are all so different with so many beautiful and interesting images. I love how relaxed I feel when I have an ongoing puzzle on the dining room table. I can just sit and connect a few pieces in between life’s daily hustle and bustle or spend late night hours obsessed with the speed and accuracy of piecing the picture together. I love the puzzle zone. ***I finished reading the Goldfinch and on that same day, I bought this puzzle at Ward’s Nursery where I was choosing seeds for my garden! I couldn’t pass it up because it is Sunflowers and Golfinches! 4. READING!!!! I will always love books, I will always read. I am grateful for my love of reading and all of the characters I have “met” who have communicated significant meaning to me at various times in my life. I have so much to say about books and reading. Maybe I’ll start mentioning books more often!! 4. The world- I never tire of looking at maps, globes, the world and imagining all of the possibilities. 5. The Bookloft- I love local bookstores! The Bookloft is one of my favorite spots in the Berkshires!
